She stood there, looking at the words which turned into life, choking and taunting her. Who is this person threatening her again? She thought she had overcome those kinds of threats that came up when her mum was kidnapped. It looked like a deja vu.
"Hey, what's up?" Caleb asked, holding her in a way that she felt secure. She always felt that way with him by her side, and she always wanted to feel that kind of way.
"Yeah, I am fine." She quickly resolved not to tell anyone about what she saw. She was scared of putting her father in such a horrific situation because that meant the surprise party they had been planning would be on hold and would probably never be visited anymore.
"Are you sure about that? Your face says otherwise." her dad stared at her, concern written all over his face.
