LIAM
"You have been quiet most of the day," rain sits next to me as he hands me a drink. "Is something wrong?"
We are watching the sunset, the sky having cleared a little to give us a brief sunset. Rain instead of taking a walk around the city and now we are by the dorks.
"It's a perfect day, I am just taking it all in," I pull up the lapels of his puffer coat to his neck to prevent him from the cold. "How can anything be wrong when I am next to you?"
"I mean, you are getting cheesy than you normally are so of course I have to ask," he shoulder bumps me and I laugh, tipping the beer in my mouth.
In truth, I am a bundle of nerves. I have been planning on a proposal, getting anxious and nervous, going above and beyond thinking of all the ways I can ask Rain to marry me and nothing has seemed to be the perfect one.
