RAIN
It's snowing, and the weather is so cold outside that I can see my breath in the air between us.
"Are you feeling cold?"
Liam is watching me as I slide further in the tub, wanting to keep my body submerged.
"a little."
"Come," he motions for me to go to him.
I take his hand and walk over to him and just as I go to sit next to him, he guides me on his lap.
"I will keep you warm. He encircles his arms around my waist, and he is so warm to the touch. I let myself sit on his lap, painfully away that we are both naked and in a hot tub.
I clear my throat as I push my hair back with one hand, settling on his lap. I am flustered, now not as confident and forthcoming as I was a few minutes ago when I was not in his arms.
