"You to have been indoors for a long time!"
Rain laughs as he watches Lexie, who is standing with hands on her waist, glaring at us.
"When was the last time you went out? Ran? Liam?"
"It's been hard having a social life with the kids and all mom, we have to be with them."
"Yeah, Simi told me how you even sent her away for a week right after employing her so that you could stay with the girls. What was the point of getting a nanny again?"
"They experienced their first shift and it's sensitive, so we had to stay with them. I didn't want to cause them distress with outsiders; you know this." Mother won't let us be unless she has been given a good enough reason.
She nods but turns to rain. "You are overly attached to them."
"As would any new mom," rain's eyes widen.
"No, I mean you won't even let me hold them." rain has been holding the girls, and Lexie won't take them. "This is getting a little unhealthy."
