"You are coming with me," she takes my hand and I freeze.
She is frozen in place as well, her eyes staring at where she is touching me as if she is not the one who made a move to touch me.
"I have to make sure-"
"Liam. I am your mother and I am not taking any more excuses from you tonight. You are coming with me."
"I am not going anywhere with you," my voice is thick with emotion when I finally look at her. Her jaw is set in determination like I remember it when she set on something.
"Do you want me to drag you? Do you want to cause a scene but this time a little different?"
"aren't we already causing a scene?"
No one was watching us, except Rain, who was clutching his clothes with a shut expression, worried over me.
"Let's go."
