RAIN
We all eat our dinner and Scott is seated next to me, telling me all kinds of things that have happened since we last saw each other. It's good that he doesn't know what transpired. I listen to everything, engaging and I even laugh, because my son manages to light up my world.
When we go to the family room to play a video game he wanted to show me, we pass by the open kitchen where there is a TV and it's on the news.
"Police are now following the suspected serial killer, who appears to be on a bike, trying to evade them. The report shows that the man has killed twenty men in a bar not long before they got a call from the only survivor."
What? A serial killer? That piques my interest and I slow down, eyes glued on the screen.
