RAIN
As the movie starts, day drapes us both with the blanket and then lays his head on my shoulder. I am snacking even after I have eaten. I avoid food during the day when I am sleeping but my appetite is growing and I can't ignore that anymore. The little ones are asking for more food.
I find myself laughing as the movie progresses, and soon enough I am leaning on day. He straightens and wraps his arms around me and then hands me a bowl of popcorn once I am done with my protein bar.
As we cuddle, I start sobbing uncontrollably. The movie was supposed to be light and fun, but it was not. I am hormonal and crying, missing the one person I am trying my hardest to not think about.
Day doesn't say anything as he rubs my back calming down and he doesn't say anything, just letting me cry on his shoulder until I fall asleep.
