Beckley is helping me strap the guns and bullets since my arm is still healing. I am not going to acknowledge how my body is feeling right now. I don't even feel pain. I am numb from head to toe but one muscle is alive, beating fast and clutched with fear I have never known.

I recognized one of the masked men as one of my father's cronies. His right hand man. My father is back and he has my mate. He has rain.
My brain is not functioning because all I feel and hear is white noise whenever I try to imagine what he is doing to my love right now.
I know his methods. He takes what he deems unfit and distracts me, breaks it, and then dangles it in front of me. If I think he is doing that to him, I don't know if I can even get the strength to walk out right now with a clear head.
