RAIN
"I am not."
Day's face is almost comical as he looks at me. "Are you sure?"
"I am." I can't accept it. It cannot be true. How?
"Yeah it makes sense, you are a man so technically you can't get pregnant-"
"I can get pregnant. I have a six-year-old son, but I am not pregnant now."
The silence between us gets so evident you could hear a pin drop.
"What?"
"I am not pregnant," I shrug as I sip the now cold coffee.
"No," Day is utterly shocked. "The part where you can get pregnant and you have a son? Are you pranking me?"
"I am not that good of a prankster plus I don't think it's funny."
"I need a minute," he holds his head with both hands. "I feel like I am going crazy."
I all but look at him, waiting for him to get it together. He is crazy to even suggest I am pregnant. Impossible.
"You have a son?"
"That's what I said."
"Hey," he points at me. "How long have we been friends?"
