RAIN
Morning reaches all too soon.
Liam and I stumbled in the sheets for most of the night, only managing to sleep very early in the morning.
I haven't been able to sleep fitfully though, already dreading this family reunion and my introduction.
Liam has told me that I don't have anything to be worried about but all of that is washed away when it's noon and we are to have our first meal together. This place follows a strict schedule, especially on meals.
So when we are notified, Liam leads me inside the main house, and as soon as we walk in, all the conversations that are going on halt around the massive table where everyone is seated.
At the head of the table is an older woman who looks anything but great-grand. She could be passed to be in her sixties and that's it. No one would think she is around two hundred years old.
