I am at a far distance from an unwanted audience in my conversation with Travis.
"I am but I needed you to know something before I came since I might be too late."
"Okay?"
"The couple, the family that's coming tonight?"
I frown, looking back at the venue where I have left rain. I don't like that a bit so I am counting seconds when I will get back there. "What about it?"
"It's his parents."
Everything stills.
"What?"
"Yeah. Biological parents. I got this information from my most trusted source. No misleads. No misinformation."
FUCK.
"Okay, I need to go now, Travis. I will catch you soon."
I disconnect the call and start walking back to rain.
What I don't expect is to see rain and Sarah ... Talking?
My brain is a little confused but I make it close enough to know that it's not a polite talk.
