RAIN
I shut my eyes tight, finger squeezing Liam's as I wait for the feeling to pass.
"Open your eyes now," Liam's voice is right next to my ear and I turn only for our faces to be an inch apart. "Has it passed?"
I nod.
"Look," he points outside the window.
The view makes me gasp. The city at night from an aerial view is breathtaking! All the lights, the little dots... I have never thought I could love it more!
Liam watches me, even as I lean in, pressing my face on the window to take it all in, even as we move further and further away.
He releases my belts and I sit back, a little embarrassed. I think I am making a fool of myself.
"No you are not," Liam says out loud and I look at him shocked. "You said it out loud," he confirms and I exhale. I cannot have him reading my thoughts like that.
"Is the feeling passed?"
"Yeah. Wait."
