Sophia hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But she knew it was pointless to hide something like this from Alex. He would find out eventually, and it was better that she told him the truth.
"Valerie and Joseph," Sophia said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "They're the ones who did this to me."
Alex's eyes narrowed, his face darkening with anger. "What did they do?" he asked, his voice low and menacing.
Sophia took a deep breath, telling Alex everything that had happened. She told him about how Valerie and Joseph had tricked her, how they had locked her in a room with a strange man.
She told him about how the man had tried to rape her, and how Alex's guard had saved her just in time.
Alex's face grew darker and darker as Sophia spoke, his eyes blazing with fury. When she finished, he was silent for a moment, his chest heaving with rage.
