Aron and I spotted Claire as we entered the lobby of the hospital. She was discussing something with a doctor and someone else who looked rather scholarly.
Aron tapped my arm. "I'll talk to her. You go see Millie first."
"Alright."
We parted at the door, Aron going to Claire and me to the front desk.
"Hi…"
The receptionist smiled politely. I recognized her. She was the same one as last time.
"I'm here to see Lam Siu Mun…"
The receptionist nodded and gestured politely toward the elevators. "She's in the same room as last time."
Was it a coincidence or had they kept the room ready, I found myself thinking as I rode my way up. The elevator dinged and I stepped out.
Like last time the hallway was crowded with plain clothed officers, and I think I recognised a few. I nodded to them as I passed. I guess I'd been expected since no one stopped me.
I knocked on door then went in.
