"What kind of quests?" Azrael inquired.

It's to be known that he had only used 5% of his accessible power.

\[Host will find out.\]

As the information from the system appeared, Azrael was greeted by the presence of a familiar yet foreign individual.

"Azrael, you've finally awoken."

Glancing at this individual, Azrael was unfazed, yet he couldn't help but notice her immense beauty.

She was a fair-skinned woman, likely in her early twenties.

Her body was shaped like an hourglass, both soft and strong, indicating she was no stranger to combat.

She had the face of a queen, with silver eyes, curvy milky lips, and hazelnut-brown hair.

Everything about her made Azrael second-guess his decision to forsake the company of women for hundreds of years, focusing solely on his goal to rule and conquer.

"Azrael, why are you just standing there? Sit down; your injuries are not fully healed yet," the woman said gently, guiding Azrael to sit.

"I'm fine, Evan," Azrael replied, his dignity at stake.

The fierce and beautiful woman before him was Evan Wolftin, a warrior and a very close friend of the body's former owner.

She had been his shield from those who bullied him for years. They had become close after she saved him from a killer boar that, for some reason, wanted him dead.

He had always been unfortunate, primarily because of his name.

The villagers hated him for it, believing he would only bring death to anyone who got close to him, just like his parents' unfortunate demise.

His parents had been crushed underfoot by a Titan, leaving nothing but mangled flesh behind.

He had been powerless to do anything but watch.

Only Evan had ever shown him care, and he had even fallen in love with her.

He planned to confess his feelings after his first successful hunt.

However, now he could no longer confess his feelings. Why? Because he was now dead.

Evan's sharp gaze pierced through Azrael's body, still surprising her even though she had been the one to undress him and bandage his wounds.

'I still can't understand how he became this fit after only two days away from the village. Did he awaken as a champion, or did he eat something unusual?' Evan thought but decided not to ask, preferring not to interfere in his matters.

"You had me worried. You're lucky our hunting party stumbled upon your massacred group and found you alive. Thank the Gods," Evan said, her face emotionless and as stiff as a rock.

Evan wasn't good with facial expressions, which is why she was known as the fierce warrior of the White Wolf clan.

"What happened?" Evan asked.

Azrael who had kept quiet all this time finally spoke. "We were attacked by a beast, it killed everyone but I was lucky enough to survive"

"How tragic, anyway, the village elders of the clan wants to see you" Elan said.

"What to see me?, Of what reason?" Azrael asked, he knew the former owner was hated especially by the elders.

Their hatred for him spurned from the core.

"They want a clear narration of what happened to you team" Evan said.

"Okay then, let's go see them," Azrael smirked.

'This will be interesting.'

The number of people killed during hunts averaged over 20 almost every week, most of them new recruits.

So, Azrael's survival raised some suspicion, though it was significant enough for him to be summoned by the elders and even praised for his bravery.

However, due to his bad reputation with the clan and the elders, any slight mistake could mean a knife to his throat.

The White Wolf clan was mostly known for the number of champions they possessed, as well as their fierceness and bravery, more so than the other clans in the region.

Azrael wore a comfortable coat that Evan had given him before they both stepped out of the enclosure.

The warmth of the bright sun touched his skin as Azrael inhaled deeply and sighed.

'I miss the stench of blood. This air is just terrible.'

The village was excessively large, with huts built for comfort.

Each residence was no more than ten feet apart, and the neighborhood seemed friendly—at least for Evan, who was respectfully greeted by almost everyone they passed.

Azrael, however, was met with glares, the killing intent emanating from the villagers palpable.

'Hmm, does massacring the White Wolf clan come with any repercussions?' Azrael thought.

'These people are champions, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are more of them, given the village's reputation.'

'I'm still weak. There could be someone stronger than me. I'll just have to kill and devour them one by one to regain my strength.'

After enduring the villagers' bloodlust, they finally reached an even larger hut.

It was twice the size of the others, exuding a grand and authoritative presence that made Evan tense.

'Why do I sense celestial energy here?' Azrael thought, anxious.

The presence of celestial energy indicated something connected to a divine being.

Although the energy was faint, Azrael wasn't sure how well he would fare if it came to a fight. His special weapons were lost in the battle, and he felt incomplete without them.

[Host is depressed about his beloved weapons. Do not worry—they can be located upon request.]

'I'm not depressed, you damn thing!' Azrael lied. 'I see... Fine, locate my precious relics.'

"Come on, why are you lost in thought? They're not that bad," Evan said, standing a little too close to Azrael's face.

"I'm not," Azrael replied, walking past Evan and entering the hut.

'Hmm, something's strange. The Azrael I knew was a scared little mouse. Ever since he woke up, his whole character has changed.' Evan wondered.

'Who the hell is this guy?'
