Chapter 89 - Hogwarts, Please Graduate Soon, C 61.1

**Silent Fear: The Signature Skill of Scarecrow Frederick releases a mental shockwave that can force enemies to see the images they fear the most.**

Isn't this just the Scarecrow's Q ability?

Magic that directly affects the mind and soul is relatively rare in the wizarding world. Moreover, most of it is dark magic; for instance, the three Unforgivable Curses are all related to the soul. If classified, Silent Fear should also be categorized under dark magic.

Most importantly, this spell is formless and instant, and cannot be blocked by the Ironclad Charm.

That alone is enough to make Wayne happy.

However, it does have its downsides—the power of the fear spell is not controlled by the caster but instead depends on the foe's mental fortitude.

If the enemy has no fear, then this magic will have little effect.

At most, it can only cause some annoyance, making the enemy feel flustered.

But if it encounters someone timid or not strong enough psychologically, it can be utterly miraculous.

One spell can render them defenseless, leaving them at the mercy of their attacker.

"Time to sleep."

Feeling quite fulfilled after his harvest, Wayne snugly covered himself with the blanket and quickly fell into a deep slumber.

At the age of eleven or twelve, when one's body is growing, even though his body has been optimized by the system, he still needs plenty of sleep.

The next morning, Wayne slept until half-past eight, and his two roommates were even more ridiculous; had he not woken them up, they likely would have slept until noon.

Arriving at the cafeteria, he handed over the feather quills he had promised to the twins, reminding them to speed up their learning pace so they could soon craft their own magical feather quills.

Wayne hurriedly ate a bit of breakfast before heading towards the Number Two Greenhouse.

Passing through the courtyard garden, he arrived at the greenhouse on the east side of the castle, only to find a crowd of young wizards blocked at the entrance.

No one dared to enter, and sounds of clattering and banging could be heard from inside the greenhouse.

"What's going on?"

Wayne asked Susan Bournes, who was in front of him.

"Wayne, you're here! Peeves is causing a ruckus inside the greenhouse; he's thrown all the shovels and buckets everywhere."

Susan looked worried as she explained, "Everyone is afraid of getting hit, so we have to wait for the headmaster to resolve it."

Clearing a path, Wayne reached the entrance and indeed saw Peeves holding a shovel, using a bucket as a flying object, making a clattering noise that made many young wizards cover their ears.

Unlike ordinary ghosts, Peeves is a very special entity.

One might even say he's not a true ghost.

All ghosts are former wizards who linger in this world due to various mysterious reasons, at least they were once human.

In contrast, Peeves has existed since the school was founded, born alongside Hogwarts Castle, with no human prototype.

Another point is that he can physically interact with objects, something other ghosts cannot do.
