Chapter 67 - Hogwarts, Please Graduate Soon, Ch 56.4

Poping a milk sweet in his mouth, Wayne lost the desire to go eat in the dining hall. Hufflepuff witches and wizards were known for being food lovers, and most of what they brought back from Hogsmeade were snacks, with many sharing some eagerly with Wayne.

Seizing the moment with so many people around, he took out his feather quill to promote it.

At two galleons a piece, it was indeed expensive, but it didn't matter as there were plenty of Hufflepuff students who weren't top scholars.

Hannah, with tear-filled eyes, took out another two galleons and bought a quill.

Less than a month into school, the little girl had visibly gained weight, spending all her pocket money on sweets.

snack.

Seeing this, Wayne felt a bit sorry and couldn't help but speak up: "Hannah, aren't you going to buy a wash ink feather quill?"

"No, thanks," the little girl sniffled, "Besides, no one lends me their homework."

"I can lend you mine," Wayne offered.

"Then… then I'll get another one?" Hannah reluctantly took out two galleons from her meager little stash and handed them to Wayne.

Cedric looked at him as if seeing a ghost. "Doesn't your conscience hurt?"

This time, Wayne made over a hundred galleons. He planned to have a chat with Malfoy, the esteemed young Master Malfoy—how could he use such a common version? He had specifically prepared high-end custom options, like unicorn feather quills and vile bird feather quills, each priced no more than ten galleons.

On Sunday, Wayne was supposed to teach Cedric how to make a map, so they found an empty classroom on the second floor. Wayne took out some parchment and special ink and began explaining.

The most basic version wasn't too difficult; using the special ink to draw the map and marking the corresponding codes for each staircase would allow it to sync in real-time with the movements of Hogwarts' staircases.

All Cedric needed was the marking spell and the hidden spell to activate it. After ruining a few maps, he finally got the hang of it.

However, the pro version was more difficult. The main issue was the real-time positioning of the young wizard, which required a very special tracking spell and a magic linking spell to establish a connection between the wizard's magic and the parchment.

After a week, Cedric could only be said to have a shaky grasp on it, with a very low success rate.

There was no way around it; Wayne had to turn into the curse lesson professor and start explaining some spellcasting techniques.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Suddenly, the classroom door was knocked on, causing Cedric to fumble and fail again.

"Who is it?" he asked irritably as he opened the door, only to see two grinning faces outside. "What are you two doing here?"

"Of course, we came to see Wayne."

Cedric stepped aside to let them in, still somewhat puzzled. "How did you know Wayne was here?"

"Classified information."

"This is the twins' biggest secret."

George and Fred chimed in together as they walked toward Wayne, wearing over-the-top friendly smiles.

"Lawrence, how was your weekend?"

"If you're feeling too lonely, we can introduce you to two lovely Gryffindor girls."
