Ryuto woke up feeling surprisingly well-rested after the chaos of the previous day. The battle with Vikar was behind them, and the mansion was finally quiet, save for the gentle crackling of the fire in the hearth. He stretched, feeling the soreness in his muscles, but it was a good kind of exhaustion, the kind that came after a hard-fought victory.
However, as he swung his legs over the side of the bed, he noticed something unusual: Nina and Celeste were standing at the foot of his bed, grinning from ear to ear. Their expressions were a mixture of mischief and excitement, and Ryuto knew, from years of experience, that this could only mean trouble.
"Uh… good morning?" Ryuto said cautiously, rubbing the back of his neck.
Nina wasted no time, practically bouncing on her toes as she clapped her hands together. "Morning, Ryuto! Guess what we've got planned today!"
