It was supposed to be a quiet morning at the guild. Ryuto had just settled into his usual spot with a cup of steaming tea, Roland and Ruda were discussing combat techniques nearby, and Nina was twirling a pencil, doodling on the back of an old quest form. Celeste sat across from Ryuto, pretending to read a book but keeping a watchful eye on Nina. Everything was calm, until the guildmaster stormed into the hall, his face flushed with anger and panic.
"Everyone, listen up!" the guildmaster barked, immediately grabbing the attention of the entire room. Adventurers of all ranks turned to face him, the usual chatter silenced in an instant.
Ryuto raised an eyebrow, exchanging a glance with Roland. "This doesn't look good," Ryuto muttered under his breath.
The guildmaster's eyes scanned the room, finally settling on Ryuto's table. "We've got a serious situation on our hands. The sacred medallion, the artifact we were meant to deliver to the king, has been stolen!"
