The Mirror World and the real world were essentially the same. In other words, at this very moment in the real world, there was indeed a blond-haired clerk working in that Tokyo store. Everything was real, but the only thing that wasn't real was the Mirror World itself. It mixed "real" and "unreal" together, creating a synchronized Mirror World.
Hayashi never missed his daily chance to enter the Mirror World. Skipping out on an opportunity to grow stronger would be foolish.
After the fight with Gojo, Hayashi truly understood how vast the gap was between him and the strongest forces in the world. If he wanted to become the strongest, surpassing Gojo, he would need to constantly improve his abilities.
During their fight, Hayashi confirmed that Gojo hadn't even taken him seriously. It felt more like Gojo was playing with him, much like he had done with Jogo before. Jogo was no match for Gojo, but did that make Jogo weak?
Absolutely not!
Jogo's strength was, in fact, incredibly formidable for a curse in the current jujutsu world. To give an example, Jogo could easily crush the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings, which had only recently evolved into their terrifying forms, even though they could use a domain, albeit in its most primitive state.
Jogo, who had lived for countless years, had far more experience and power compared to them. The difference between the two was clear.
The future was uncertain. What if one day an ancient curse revived? Would Hayashi be able to stand against it? Or would he be forced to watch this world collapse, with his friends and classmates dying at the hands of curses?
Hayashi was determined never to let that happen. He had to push himself to grow infinitely within the limited time he had.
So, a thought crossed his mind: could the items from the Mirror World be brought into the real world? Could the curses exorcised there be converted into points?
As soon as the one-hour cooldown was up, Hayashi reentered the Mirror World. This time, he headed straight to the seashores of Hokkaido. He wanted to test the Mirror World's time rewind function and rewind back to the moment when the Cursed Womb: Death Painting first appeared.
Hayashi's plan was to exorcise the Cursed Womb and retrieve the small red gourd it had within, to see if he could take it out of the Mirror World. If he could, then his strength would soar. If not, he'd have to stick to farming for points.
Hokkaido was quite far from Tokyo, and Hayashi couldn't just use Time Flash all the way there since its range was still limited and needed his cursed energy to sustain it.
Currently, the Mirror World couldn't teleport him directly to his destination, but perhaps in the future, that might become possible.
So, Hayashi decided to steal an Audi R8 and speed towards Hokkaido.
In this world, Hayashi was essentially a real living person, while everyone else acted like real-world NPCs. He didn't need to worry about laws—they had nothing to do with him.
He prioritized convenience and speed.
Hayashi had never driven an Audi R8, in either this life or his past one. While he did have a driver's license, he'd never driven a car with such performance.
Once he got the hang of the controls, Hayashi's driving speed shot up, and he began tearing down the highway, far exceeding the speed limit.
He sped furiously towards Hokkaido.
To be honest, the distance between Tokyo and Hokkaido was too far to cover by car, but Hayashi couldn't fly a plane. What, was he supposed to learn how to fly now, too?
"Wait a minute… I actually could do that!" Hayashi exclaimed mid-drive, his entire body jolting with realization.
Not only that, he could study jujutsu techniques while he was here. The Mirror World was identical to the real world, so if he could find the right techniques, he should be able to learn them too, right?
The more he thought about it, the more he realized that in this world, he was nearly omnipotent—capable of learning anything.
"Unit Two, Unit Two, we've got a report of an Audi R8 speeding near Torimori Park, heading in an unknown direction. Please intercept immediately."
"Unit Two, understood."
"Unit Two, the vehicle has been reported stolen. The driver is a car thief. Please deploy nearby officers to assist with the interception."
"Unit Two, understood."
The local traffic and police departments were mobilized, but Hayashi wasn't an idiot. He knew his reckless driving would lead to a manhunt, but what did that matter?
He was having too much fun speeding. The cars around him were shaking in fear, terrified by his driving.
Police cars rushed behind him, their sirens blaring as they closed in quickly. "Car thief ahead, pull over immediately and submit to the law!"
"I repeat, car thief ahead, pull over immediately and submit to the law!"
"Submit to the law, my foot." Hayashi smirked. Instead of slowing down, he accelerated.
Even though the police cars had been modified for pursuit, they were no match for the high-performance Audi R8. Hayashi left them behind, several blocks away.
As Hayashi's high-speed driving caused a city-wide stir, more and more police officers were deployed. Some of them had even set up a blockade further up the road, laying down spiked strips to stop him.
If Hayashi kept driving at that speed, he would eventually crash into the roadblock and die.
As expected, a roadblock appeared ahead, and just as Hayashi noticed it, the car was already right in front of it.
"This guy has a death wish! There's a roadblock, and he's still speeding up?"
"Get out of the way, quick! Don't get caught in this. That guy's a goner."
A dozen armed officers quickly moved to the side, preparing to inspect the wreckage and collect the remains afterward.
However, what no one expected was that just before the Audi R8 hit the roadblock and spikes, the car suddenly lifted off the ground, soaring over the obstacles, and smoothly landed on the road, continuing forward.
"Is this… a Grand Theft Auto moment?"
One of the officers exclaimed, completely baffled. This scene shattered his understanding of reality; he had never seen anything like it in his entire life.
The method Hayashi used was simple: he enveloped the car in a layer of cursed energy and levitated it over the barrier. It wasn't difficult for him at all, given how skilled he had become in manipulating cursed energy.
In fact, Hayashi could have directly made the car fly, but long-term control like that would have been tricky without a steady power source. His energy source was his cursed energy, and using it this way would have drained him quickly.
After shaking off all the police cars in pursuit, Hayashi finally reached the farthest outskirts of Hokkaido. In fact, this wasn't exactly Hokkaido anymore, but rather a coastal area.
This was the fishing port Hayashi had visited before—the very place where the cursed womb Ryoumen Sukuna had appeared.
Now, the area was bustling with life again. The fishermen and the port had resumed their operations, seemingly in good spirits.
When Hayashi got out of the car, he noticed that the fuel was entirely used up.
Standing by the sea, with the breeze in his face, Hayashi stretched out his arms in contentment. The wild driving experience had indeed been exhilarating, but this was something he could only afford to do in the mirror world. In reality, he wouldn't dare to be this reckless.
