Chapter 91 - Ch.91 Battle with a Familiar Face

"This... isn't that Fushiguro's Divine Dog?" Hayashi was momentarily stunned and didn't react immediately.

"Who are you!? Why are you wearing the Jujutsu High uniform and showing up here?" A stern voice questioned. Hayashi turned around to see Fushiguro Megumi, with his signature spiky hair, glaring at him.

"I'm Hayashi, you—" Hayashi started, but then realized he was in the mirror world. In this world, Fushiguro wouldn't recognize him.

No wonder. He had suddenly appeared at Jujutsu High as an outsider, which made him an intruder.

In other words, the current Fushiguro Megumi was now an enemy.

Although Hayashi didn't really want to fight Fushiguro, he reminded himself that this world was just a mirror. Once he left, everything would return to normal, as if this world had never existed.

Every time he entered the mirror world, it reset, so even if he killed Fushiguro here, it wouldn't matter. But still, Hayashi couldn't bring himself to kill someone he admired.

"Hayashi? Who are you!?" Fushiguro pondered for a moment, but his memory was blank—he had no recollection of anyone named Hayashi.

"Even though I can't sense any cursed energy from you, the fact that you infiltrated Jujutsu High means you're definitely hiding your cursed energy," Fushiguro said, feeling a bit more at ease. After all, this was Jujutsu High, and Gojo-sensei was here. There was no need to worry.

"Heh heh... Little Megumi, I advise you not to mess with me, or you'll regret it." Hayashi suddenly let out a mischievous laugh. He found this situation amusing. Someone who should be familiar with him was now a stranger, while he himself still recognized them.

From Fushiguro's perspective, Hayashi was a stranger, but to Hayashi, Fushiguro was a familiar face.

"Who exactly are you?" Fushiguro felt a chill. The way this boy spoke, it was as if he knew him, which was eerie and unsettling.

"Hahaha, are you scared? Don't know who I am? Want to find out?" Hayashi's playful side emerged. Teasing Fushiguro seemed like fun, especially since Fushiguro's confused expression was rather amusing.

"I don't want to know!" Fushiguro shouted, "Divine Dog, attack!"

The Divine Dog had been waiting for its moment. Upon hearing Fushiguro's command, it lunged at Hayashi.

Hayashi drew the Black Steel sword from his back and swung it horizontally at the charging Divine Dog, sending it flying dozens of meters before it crashed into a nearby patch of grass.

"So strong!" Fushiguro quickly deduced that this boy was far more powerful than expected—he might not be able to win.

In truth, Hayashi was eager to test himself against Fushiguro. What he couldn't achieve in the real world, he could here. But he had no intention of killing someone he knew, even in the mirror world.

Defeating them, though? That was fair game!

Even though this world would reset and everything here was virtual in a sense, it was still a perfectly mirrored version of reality—just separated by a fine line from the real world.

"Let's see how strong you are, Fushiguro," Hayashi said, his playful grin fading as he re-sheathed Black Steel on his back. He wouldn't need it for this fight.

Fushiguro was taken aback. This boy had not only conjured a cursed tool out of nowhere but also seemed to know his name, as if they'd met before. It was all too bizarre.

In the next instant, Hayashi flashed in front of Fushiguro, charging his fist with cursed energy before striking Fushiguro's stomach with an Azure Black Flash.

Fushiguro couldn't react to the speed and was struck directly. Pain seared through his body, leaving his stomach numb, as if it no longer existed.

Fushiguro spat blood as he was sent flying, crashing through the dormitory wall and landing inside the building.

The commotion drew immediate attention.

Panda-senpai, Inumaki-senpai, and Maki-senpai all rushed over, forming a triangle around Hayashi, surrounding him.

"Fushiguro, are you still alive?" Maki asked, gripping a cursed spear, her eyes fixed on Hayashi.

"I'm fine," Fushiguro's weak voice responded from within the building.

Hayashi thought to himself, As expected, Fushiguro can take a hit. That punch wasn't light—if Fushiguro could still stand, he was tough.

Maybe it was all the training he'd gone through.

"Now, who are you?" Maki asked seriously, glaring at Hayashi. Someone who could infiltrate Jujutsu High unnoticed was no ordinary person, and someone who could injure Fushiguro was even more dangerous.

"I am invincible," Hayashi said with a grin, thoroughly enjoying the moment. Here in the mirror world, he could boast freely without any consequences.

The trio blinked in confusion. Panda tilted his head, looking at Hayashi curiously. "Why does that sound familiar?"

"Gojo-sensei said that. Haven't you heard?" Maki gave Panda a side-eye. Hearing it from Gojo made sense, but hearing it from this boy sounded ridiculous.

"Whether or not you're invincible, we'll find out soon enough. But haven't you considered that getting in is a lot easier than getting out?" Panda admired Hayashi's guts. Infiltrating Jujutsu High alone with all these jujutsu sorcerers around—was he brave or just ignorant?

"Be careful, everyone. He's fast and strong!" Fushiguro said, leaning on Kugisaki Nobara for support as he emerged from the dormitory. Blood still dripped from his mouth.

"Get him, Maki-senpai! Kick his ass!" Nobara cheered, urging Maki to beat down Hayashi.

Hayashi felt a little uncomfortable hearing such words from Nobara, someone he considered an ally. This was supposed to be a tight-knit group, but now she was egging on Maki to take him down.

But the more they underestimated him, the more Hayashi wanted to prove his strength.

In a flash, Hayashi darted toward Inumaki, landing a punch charged with Azure Black Flash directly into his stomach.

Inumaki wasn't as resilient as Fushiguro. The punch seemed to shatter his insides, sending him flying backward.

With Inumaki dealt with, Hayashi immediately charged at Panda, delivering another punch.

Panda had been ready, anticipating the attack. He swung his fist at Hayashi's, but while Panda's was a normal strike, Hayashi used an Azure Black Flash.

The difference was clear—Panda was sent flying back. Hayashi rushed forward, preparing to land another hit.

"Stop!"

Suddenly, Hayashi felt his body freeze in place, as if an invisible force was holding him still. It was a strange sensation, as though his body was no longer under his own control.
