"I'm a skeleton. What does it look like I am?" Aaron responded, the two blue orbs in his skeletal palm. "I could technically ask you the same question, but I think I'd get a much better response since you obviously aren't from here."
The woman looked perplexed, trying to understand what was going on here. Some unsatisfactory joke? "No, I mean, what ARE you? A wild monster that doesn't kill people? A monster that talks? I've never heard about anything like this!" The human explained, trying to piece together everything about Aaron. "I can be more specific, sure. I'm a skeleton who was born...I don't know exactly when, but definitely less than three days ago. I've been using the abilities I've had since birth to find out more about this world. I'm quite clueless. I've given myself a way to identify myself, but I don't know how much credit it holds in regards to this underground labyrinth, for want of a better world."
The woman just sat there, eyes wide, mouth agape. A young skeleton with massive arms and fire magic? It seemed implausible at the very least. When you added the ability to speak, this was just impossible. Her mind began racing with all the options of things that could have happened to bring her here.
"Hello~? Is there anybody home~?" Aaron asked, almost teasingly. He didn't know what was going on inside the woman's head, but if he was to guess, it's be about how to escape. The woman shook herself out of her stream of thoughts. "Ah, sorry. It's quite shocking to hear a monster that talks. Your pronounciation is incredible as well especially considering you're less than a week old, in your words."
"Yeah, that might have something to do with my ability. I'll leave that, however, hidden, just in case some people come after me. Plus, I need a trump card to protect myself with." Aaron replied, moving to the back of the cave, placing his shiny blue orbs and his sword on the floor. Some pebbles dropped behind him, which he assumed was from him putting his stuff down too hard. The light from the spheres reflected off the metal blade light a lens, giving the shadowy cave's end a slight blue tinge. "Do you have any clue what those are?" Aaron asked, turning around, noticing that the woman was gone. 'Damnit. She legged it.'
Aaron quickly made his way out of his base, looking around to try find his only source of information. He saw a bare glimpse of her habit - the clothes that nuns wear - turning a corner, and swung himself forward. He reached the corner, using his right hand as a pivot point, and kept moving, seeing more and more of her clothes as she cleared corners. Monsters lined each and every pathway, fighting tooth and nail in a small-scale conflict that Aaron didn't know about, but couldn't care about. After the fourth turn, he saw that she wasn't using her legs. She was being pulled along. Aaron decided in that moment that he had to save her from whatever had grabbed her.

Aaron used his Acid Magic to create a slippery surface beneath his feet, barely tingly with the acid. Using his arms, he was able to propel himself forward, keeping a lot more momentum due to the acid shielding him from friction.
He quickly caught up to the woman, who was being pulled along by a large mantis-like creature. It had four arms, but dull ends, unlike its Earthen counterpart, and was running on four pointy legs, like a centaur. It was holding the woman in two of its arms while bashing the othet hands against the walls, moving monsters out of its way.
Aaron's acid quickly pushed him ahead of the mantis, who tried to stop in time, but the almost water-like liquid got underneath it's large, pointed feet. It skidded across the floor, all of its traction gone in an instant. Aaron stopped producing his acid, jumping towards the mantis, trying to grab the woman. However, the mantis noticed this, and lifted it's arms up into the air, meaning Aaron missed.
He hit the mantis square in its spindly chest.
He sent himself, the mantis, and the woman straight into the floor. The woman quickly skittered back on her palms and backside, moving away. Aaron started pummeling the mantis's body with his oversized bear fists, the sounds of crunching and blood - hemolymph - splattering echoing throughout the underground labyrinth. The fighting around him stopped, as each monster turned to look at him, seeing his arms covered in the green substance. Aaron kept pounding, the crunching of the mantis soon turning into thumps against the floor. Aaron pulled himself back, noticing the now considerably-size gap between the monsters head and body. The woman was staring at him, wide eyed.
Aaron stood up, slowly, letting his built-up physical energy dissipate before doing anything else. He looked around, noticing the veritable crowd of monsters staring him down. Not good.
Something glimmered in the bottom left corner of his eyesight, coming from the body of the mantis. Two grey orbs, as reflective as the blue counterpart, and one purple. "Well look at what we got here!" Aaron said, projecting his voice so the woman could hear, using his new [Understanding of Mysterran (High)] skill. "I'm going have to ask you about these!" Aaron yelled, grabbing the orbs and placing them in his bony palm. He sprinted towards the woman, quickly grabbing her as he moved.

In one hand, Aaron carried three spherical gems, and in the other, he held this random woman who showed up in his cave. Aaron quickly slid away, the acid beneath his feet acting as his friction-free getaway. None of the monsters followed him, but as Aaron turned the corner, he realised why no other monster was stupid enough to chase him.
"God damn it. The worm's back."
