Akira's POV
"Oow, that was hectic," I yawned after I finished the work that was assigned to me. I was about switching off my computer when Nina walked in.
"U're really hardworking, u missed lunch because of this," Nina said.
"I just wanted to finish it early and have a little rest," I replied feeling the surge of hunger, "U should've let me buy u lunch, now u're gonna starve yourself for no reason," Nina complained, I chuckled a little at her worried expression.
"Don't worry, I'm not hungry, I'll go submit this at the CEO'S office," I said rearranging the files, I stood up and stretched a bit before taking the files in my hands.
"Do u know the way to the CEO'S office?" Nina asked and I shook my head, "I have no idea, I'll just go to the top floor and ask around."
"See ya," I waved at her and walked out, I used the elevator to the top floor where the CEO's office might be, "Wow!" I exclaimed at the lovely sight, I walked further until I arrived two corners, I stopped walking and sighed, "Is this a T-junction or what?" I asked myself.
I walked to the right until I met an averaged height lady, she was a bit taller than I am cause of the high stiletto heels she was putting on, she applied a lot of makeup on her face which was unnecessary for an employee, I wanted to ignore her but she stopped me.
"Hey, don't u have work to do? Why're u walking around, u must be new here, are u tryna cause trouble?" She asked rudely, I almost scoffed at her rude behavior but I let it slide, ' I wouldn't wanna punch someone in the face on my first day, ' I thought.
"Can't u speak?" She asked furiously.
"I was asked to take the files to the CEO'S office," I informed reluctantly, trying not to sound rude.
"Hand it over, I'll take it instead,"she demanded bringing forth her hands.
"I was never asked to give it to anyone to take it there, I was given instructions to take it there myself, besides my legs are working properly, Good day," I muttered to the already furious lady and turned proceeding to the left turn.
"Who does she think she is? My employer or what? If it wasn't for my job, I would've given her a piece of my mi....."
I was mumbling to myself not noticing that someone was walking to my direction, I subconsciously hit the person.
I felt hands on my waist...
I looked up to see who it was, I was shocked to the borns, that same blue eyes looking at me so intently, worst of all.....
' His hands are on ur waist! ' My inner mind screamed excitedly, I felt my heart thumping, I couldn't move I stood there dumbstruck looking at the perfect made figure.
I quickly regained myself and moved back, I was about walking away when he held my hands and took me to a corner.

Alexander strode down the corridor, going to no where in particular, ' I really wanna see her, ' he thought, Luckily, she was walking to his direction absentmindedly, he pretended to be absentminded as well and allowed her to bump into him, he placed his hands on her waist, his body heat up as a result of the touch. He was unexpectedly happy to see her.
Presently
Alex took her to a corner, placing his hand on the wall above her head and never taking his eyes off her face. Akira felt her heart thumping erratically.
"Heart please don't fail me, compose urself... Akira always remember, never look vulnerable in front of any man no matter the situation, quote my mum," she thought and mustered up some courage, she confidently looked up at him.
"What do u want?" She asked. ' Why is he staring at me so intently, ' Akira thought, meanwhile Alex couldn't take his eyes off her face.
"Mister pls stop this, what happened that night was just a pressing need of money for some thing very important, I'm not a sl..."
