"I don't think Kayder is the father of my child." Egnis spoke to her brother while twirling the fresh blood in her wine glass. "He doesn't smell like royal blood, let alone a regular vampire." She complained, placing the glass. Throwing her head on the back of the sofa, the moonlight fell over Egnis' face from the full walled arched windows. 

"Are you certain? He could have masked his scent, Egnis. There are many possibilities. He has to be your mate, else nothing makes sense." Her brother pointed out towards her pregnant belly. "You know a human, even a lowly vampire could die with your direct touch for long. He survived it, which means he should be a royal blood."

The grim silence followed Raizel's convincing voice. Sitting on the red velvet sofas while drinking fresh blood. Both of them needed to solve the mystery of the unborn child's father. Egnis snapped open her crimson eyes and turned towards her brother. By that time her red iris had returned to normal emerald. "Even if he is a royal blood, Kayder isn't my mate."

"I haven't seen the tattoo prophesied by the seer. He isn't my mate and I seriously doubt he is the father of my child." Egnis insisted on her theory and gulped the rest of the blood. Standing up and walking towards the window. Looking at the bright sky, her eyes glowed red once again. "Though the mystery remains of how he is still alive and breathing." 

Meanwhile, on the other hand in the Emar manor. Kayder came out of the washroom with a towel draped around his waist. His bare footsteps made water marks as the droplets made the floor wet. "Come hurriedly, honey~" A feminine voice called out to him from the bed, where a brunette laid stark naked. "I cannot wait for you anymore."

Brushing his hair in the mirror, Kayder smiled at himself. Posing to see his reflection and physique he was satisfied with himself. Turning around at the woman he grinned with a loud response. "Coming, hold on, wild kitten!" Glancing back in the mirror, his back appeared without any tattoo. Just like, Egnis said. Walking closer to the brunette, taking off his towel. A half tattoo appeared over his tailbone.
