Chapter 13 - chapter 13 flashbacks

It was a usual day, another party at my house with my gang of friends. The two-story house wasn't far from the school, which made it the perfect spot for late-night gatherings. The music downstairs thudded in the background, the bass vibrating through the walls. I stood on the terrace, shirtless, a cigarette lazily balanced between my fingers as I leaned against the side wall, watching the street below.

As I exhaled, the smoke curled into the night air, and that's when I saw her.

A girl, walking down the street, struggling with two heavy trolleys. The moonlight shone down on her, illuminating her figure like she was some kind of angel. She was wearing a candle-white gown, the soft fabric flowing around her legs as she walked. Her skin was pale, almost glowing in the night, and I couldn't take my eyes off her. She looked innocent—too innocent to be in this part of town at this hour, yet there she was, smiling at a little kitten that had followed her. She knelt down to feed the creature, and for a moment, I could see her kindness.

Who was she?

She pulled out her phone and answered a call, her face lighting up with happiness. My gut twisted with suspicion. Was she talking to her boyfriend? Her parents? Friends? Either way, it didn't matter. I needed to know who she was.

While I was lost in thought, one of my clingy classmates interrupted, coming up behind me. She kissed me, pulling my focus away from the girl below. But I wasn't interested. My mind was still on the mysterious girl walking down the street. I held the girl's hair and forced her head down, positioning her while I leaned back, my elbows resting against the wall, still staring at the street .

My classmate before me obeyed eagerly, unzipping my pants and taking me into her mouth, but my mind wasn't on her. Even as she worked on me, I was thinking about the girl with the trolleys while groaning in pleasure leaning back. The way she moved, the way her gown clung to her legs, the way she smiled at the kitten—it was driving me insane. I wanted to know more, to feel her, to taste her.

My body reacted to the girl in front of me, but my mind was with the girl I'd just seen. I held her hair , moved her head fast.I hit the back of her throat harder, closing my eyes, letting the pleasure roll over me. But every time I pictured intimacy, it wasn't with the girl on her knees. It was with the one walking down the street, the one I wanted to possess, to conquer.

When I finally released, it was into her mouth, but it felt like my release was meant for the other girl. My mind was elsewhere, and it only made my desire stronger.

As the girl wiped her mouth and looked up at me expectantly, I didn't say a word. I simply walked away, heading in the direction the mysterious girl had gone. I needed to find her, needed to know who she was and why she had such a hold over me already. My head buzzed, half from the drugs, half from the raw desire pumping through my veins. But when I got to the street, she was gone. Nowhere to be seen.

I took my car and headed straight to my school and started searching the white dress.but nowhere could be found.

For a moment, I thought maybe she was just a figment of my imagination, something I had conjured up in my drug-fueled haze.

I was about to give up and head back to my room when the girl who had given me the blowjob earlier found me again. "Why did you leave?" she asked, her voice dripping with need. "Shall we continue where we left off?"

She kissed me again, her hands gripping my head as she stood on her toes. I kissed her back out of habit, bending toward her, but something caught my eye.

It was her.

The girl I had been searching for, standing at the entrance of my dorm wing. She was watching me, her lips slightly parted, her eyes wide. She looked as though she had just walked into something she shouldn't have seen, but she couldn't look away.

And that look—God, that look. It was enough to drive me crazy. I could see the way her throat moved as she swallowed, the way her body tensed as she watched me kiss someone else. There was something raw in her expression, something that told me she was affected by what she was seeing, even if she didn't want to be.

That was all it took.

I turned my attention back to the girl in front of me, kissing her harder, more fiercely, knowing that the girl I wanted was watching. I gave her a sly smirk between kisses, making sure she knew that I was doing this on purpose. I wanted her to see me, to know that I was thinking about her, even when I was with someone else.

But then Eva pulled her away.

I broke the kiss, shoving the girl off me as I watched the other one disappear down the hall with Eva. My frustration burned through me, but I didn't follow. I knew I'd see her again, and when I did, I wouldn't let her get away.

From that night on, I couldn't stop thinking about her. My craving for her grew every time I saw her around campus. Whether it was her smile, the way she walked, or the way she laughed with her friends, everything about her made me want her more. And every time she smiled at someone else, it felt like a punch to the gut.

Especially when I found out she had a crush on Ethan.

I hated Ethan for a lot of reasons, but this—this was the worst. The thought of her being with him, of her smiling at him the way she smiled at that kitten, made me want to destroy him. But, as fate would have it, Ethan screwed things up himself, pushing her right into my path.
