James Mason got to his office with a saddened demeanor; he fell on his seat and angrily slammed his hand against his desk repeatedly. His girlfriend Kate Henderson has just been sacked, he blamed Donald for what happened to her.
"I will deal with you, Donald; I will make sure you pay for what you have done. I will make sure you are fired, you will regret coming to this company to apply for a job. I will hunt you until you are no more." He voices inwardly with his heart pounding in fury.
He scratched his chin in frustration; he could hear his phone buzzing, but he glanced at the screen. It was from Kate Henderson. James didn't bother to pick up the call; he was boiling in anger.
While Donald walked towards the dressing room and changed into the janitor's suit, as he began his mission. First, he was determined to know every office and the people in charge of it.
Donald took note of everything he saw on his first day, he had his eyes and ears on alert. He knew the task ahead wouldn't be an easy task but he was determined to accomplish it and not let Mr. Victor Nathan down.
Donald got home feeling exhausted, he fell on his bed. An evil smirk formed by the side of his lips as the memories of what happened to Kate Henderson played on his mind.
He remembered how she would always humiliate and curse her whenever she got an opportunity. His mind drifted to a year ago when she came to Pamela's apartment; Kate unleashed a thunderous slap on his face just because he mistakenly spilt water on her dress, which she claimed to have bought for $4,000 at an expensive boutique.
"That serves her right, she deserves more than that. I wished I had the opportunity, I would have dealt with her." He said softly.
Donald drifted his mind to the five million dollars in his bank account, and how he was going to invest them so he could get more money. An idea popped into his head, he remembered hearing a podcast where they talked about investing in a stock market. But he had no idea about what the market was about and how to proceed with the investment.
He pulled out his phone and browsed the internet to check the podcast and how to learn more. He moved to the desk and took a journal and a pen. He knew he had to take his life seriously; if there was one person he would want to humiliate, it would be his ex-wife, Pamela Martins. Aside from that, he would want to be rich and have all the things he had always dreamt about. But to do that he would have to invest his money and not spend on unnecessary things that wouldn't help him.
Donald plugged his earphones on as he listened to the podcast. He took notes of something he heard. Suddenly, his phone buzzed and distracted him from what he was listening to. He glanced at the phone screen and found the number of an unknown caller.
He felt disappointed and sighed in frustration, "Who the hell is calling me at this hour." He said.
The unknown number called back again; this time, he was moved to pick up to grasp why he had been called.
"Hello, this is Donald Walker speaking. Who are you and how can I help you."
A female voice yelled from the other end of the call. "Donald, what have you done to my friend? How dare you show your useless and worthless face at her workplace and get her sacked. Donald, you are a fool, and people like you deserve to be kicked out of this life. Be ready to face me whenever we meet." She threatened.
Donald smiles without being told he knows who owns the voice, and without hesitation, he terminates the call. He added the number to his blacklist and placed his phone on aeroplane mode while he continued with what he was doing.
Meanwhile, Pamela and Benson's eyes widened in shock and disbelief.
"He just hung the call on me. Could you believe that bastard? Donald, you have just touched the tail of a lion. Get ready to face my wrath." She said with her voice dripping with hatred and malice.
She moved towards her friend who was still sobbing bitterly, "I am sorry, dear. I promise you, Donald will not go free. We will deal with him and make sure he pays for what he has done to you."
"I lost my job all because of that worthless pauper; I can't believe it. It wasn't even up to an hour before he got into the building, and he made the president sack me." She said with her eyes reddened in anger, while she continued to cry.
