As they took their leave, they saw the chaos scene with lots of people gathered. Instead of staying to check out the gossip, they hurried to leave so as to prevent Jiang Tang's mother, Yue Yao from knowing they were here. Even if she is going to know they had come there, she shouldn't catch them red-handed. With this in mind, Jiang Tang hurried forward only to discover that Cuo Zhitao had stopped moving.
"What's wrong?" Jiang Tang asked Cuo Zhitao who was looking at the chaotic scene.
Raising her hand tremblingly, "Tang Tang, is that woman not pointing at Aunt Yao?" Cuo Zhitao asked.
At the mention of it, Jiang Tang raised her head up sharply and looked towards the scene. And sure enough, her mother was in the middle of the scene, with a slightly chubby woman covered in branded clothes screaming and shouting the dirtiest words Jiang Tang has ever heard in her life.
"You are a vixen! A bitch! A dirty person like you should be soaked in the pig cage! How can you? Seducing my husband in broad daylight. Why does he even have your number? Have you slept together? How many times have you had sex with him? Do you think I am just a decoration? What am I even saying? A bitch as you are, you must have slept with several men! Sleeping with others is not enough, you have to sleep with mine too!" the woman shouted.
"I have not and never had any form of private relationship with your husband. And the last time, he asked for my number to make it easy for him to book a private room whenever he comes as I'm the lobby manager. And also, he did call me last night, but it was even a call I did not pick. Because I never pick up work calls after I leave the restaurant. You can call your husband and confirm, Mrs Wang." Yue Yao spoke in defense gently but firmly.
"Of course, a bitch like you will deny it. Why won't you deny it? Do you think I'm a fool? Why are you staring at me? Stop looking at me! With a face like yours, do you think I will believe you are not my husband's mistress? I want to scratch that face of yours and without that face, i want to see how you can seduce men again.'' With that said and not giving anyone a chance to react, she pulled a bowl of soup from a waiter's cart that was parked aside and poured it all over Yue Yao.
Everyone stopped in shock! It was as if the time was frozen. No one thought she would actually pour a bowl of soup over Yue Yao.
"Lobby Manager!" a waitress shouted in shock. This shout brought many people back to the present. At the same time the restaurant manager came over.
A tall man of average look named Zhang Fan. he was employed by the owner's family to manage the restaurant. A degree holder in business management from Z university, a well known prestigious university in the country. With his high salary, work position and degree, of course he is proud of himself and also pursued Yue Yao when he first started working which was about a year ago. After discovering that she gave him no face nor was she interested in him, then he stopped but continued to give her special preference which was quite obvious to the workers and that also caused some dissatisfaction among workers there, especially young unmarried female workers that feel that the manager is a good catch and think there is space for them to develop affection.
At the arrival of Zhang Fan, most of the waiters heaved a relieved smile. They know that the manager likes Yue Yao and will give her special attention, so they feel now that he is here, he is going to at least protect Yue Yao.
Going into the middle of the crowd, the first thing Zhang Fan saw was the embarrassed Yue Yao with wet hair stuck all over her face. "Tut, tut! This is when you know true beauty. Even in such an embarrassed state, she is still exuding beauty. Look at that pitiful look." he sighed in his heart.
Smiling, he turned around and faced Mrs Wang. "Hello Mrs Wang. I am Zhang Fan, the manager of this restaurant. Please come with me to my office." he said bowing lightly.
"Why should I follow you to your office? I came here to deal with this bitch and not to come sit down with you drinking tea in your office!" Mrs Wang shouted in reply.
"Of course, of course! I know! But you talking to her in this hallway does not fit your status. With your status, you should be in my office, drinking tea and you tell me to bring her to you. That's what fits a big vip like you." Zhang Fan said flattering her with his words.
"And also. With your status, shouting here is a bit low level. And also, it's not good for you to shout too much so as not to cause stress to you. So, what about coming to the office with me to quench your thirst?" he continued and asked.
"Alright, I will go with you. That is not a problem." Mrs Wang said after thinking for a while. She looked at Yue Yao with hatred, then left while hitting Yue Yao with her body. With Zhang Fan following her, he led her away.
Immediately she left, they all sighed in relief. With everyone asking her how she feels, Yue Yao smiled lightly at everyone and said she is okay, thanking them for their help.
"Who can say? Maybe she really hooked up with her husband or why would the woman come all the way here to make trouble? It's never good to be a mistress especially when you are this old." a beautiful woman around 27 years of age with a waiter's uniform on said and left.
When Yue Yao heard this, she stopped for a minute, looked at the back of the woman who spoke as she left, then smiled and left for the locker room.
All of this was witnessed by both Cuo Zhitao and Jiang Tang. With tears in her eyes, she could only look on when that woman continued spewing curses at her mother and even when she poured that bowl of soup on her mother, she struggled to go but was held back by Cuo Zhitao. Immediately after it was over, she was dragged out by Cuo Zhitao.
She was dragged out of the restaurant and walked a while. After some distance, Cuo Zhitao released her. Immediately she was released, with tears streaming down her face, Jiang Tang asked "Why?".
