Over a month had passed, and Morgan's anxiety grew with each passing day. The familiar black and blue light and shadow finally appeared before her again. The Dimension Demon, after much effort, found a loophole in the mystical defenses Ancient One had set up.
"Morgan, my daughter," the demon spoke softly, "I see you've made your decision."
Morgan, feeling a strange blend of excitement and nervousness, asked eagerly, "Father, how will you help me?"
The demon's voice turned even more tender, sensing that his plan was coming together. "It's simple. I will awaken your latent power, and you will finally realize your true potential."
"But what about Ancient One? Won't she notice?" Morgan asked, concerned about the repercussions. If Ancient One discovered this awakening, all of it would be for nothing.
The Dimension Demon reassured her, "Don't worry. I will act discreetly. Ancient One rarely intervenes in matters of this dimension unless absolutely necessary. As long as you continue to grow, no one will notice—until it's too late."
Morgan, still young and naive, couldn't see through her father's manipulative words. Her yearning for family and power blinded her to the danger, and she allowed herself to trust him.
"What should I do?" she asked, ready to embrace her dark inheritance.
"Simply don't resist," the demon instructed, and with that, he injected his power into her. Morgan's body surged with energy, and she felt as though every cell in her being was suddenly awakened. A blue, hazy mark appeared on her forehead as the demonic portion of her soul came to life.
Negative energy flooded into her, causing her bones to creak and her flesh to twist painfully. Her physical transformation was extreme—her limbs elongated, her nails sharpened into claws, and her legs morphed into a beastly, anti-jointed form with clawed feet. Two spiral horns sprouted from her forehead, and her once delicate face shifted into something more sinister, though still alluring. Her skin turned a light blue, her eyes glowed with a bright azure light, and her dark blue hair billowed as though charged with magic.
Giant bat-like wings emerged from her back, and her now fully demonized form radiated both temptation and danger. Her body had become a mix of feminine grace and monstrous power, a perfect vessel for the magic that now flowed through her veins.
Without hesitation, Morgan flew straight to Blade Technology Industries, her mind clouded by desire. The Dimension Demon, watching from afar, grinned. "Blinded by your hunger, my daughter... You won't even realize the trap you're walking into," he whispered before retreating to avoid detection by Ancient One.
"Zod!" Morgan cried as she crashed through the concrete wall of Zod's office, her dark blue magic crackling in the air.
Zod, unfazed by the destruction, looked at the figure standing before him, though he didn't recognize her at all. The woman before him was taller, her figure unfamiliar, and her appearance had completely changed. Even his psychic powers couldn't penetrate her mind.
"Who are you?" he asked, baffled.
Morgan's heart skipped a beat—of course, he didn't recognize her. She had changed too much. Stepping closer, she used her newfound mind-control powers on Zod. His brow twitched slightly as her magic invaded his psyche, but Zod resisted the urge to reveal his own power. Instead, he pretended to fall under her spell, allowing her to think she had control over him.
Seeing Zod's eyes go vacant, Morgan's heart swelled with excitement. She pulled him close, embracing him tightly. Zod, still playing along, felt the pressure of her superhuman strength as she pressed him against her transformed body.
"Zod, I love you, and you love me too," Morgan whispered, consumed by her desire. She was desperate to unite with him, to make him hers.
"I love you... but who are you?" Zod responded, maintaining his dazed expression while preparing to strike if necessary.
"I'm Morgan..." she finally revealed, and Zod's hand, which had been ready to unleash a deadly blow, froze in midair.
Just then, Ancient One appeared, sensing the disturbance. She took in the scene before her—Morgan, now transformed into a demonic being, and Zod, seemingly under her control. Without hesitation, Ancient One pulled both of them into the Mirror Dimension, isolating the chaotic energies.
"Master Ancient One!" Morgan exclaimed, her mind momentarily clearing as she realized what had happened. But her mood quickly soured as a wave of irritation flooded her. The demon's influence was too strong.
Ancient One, however, remained calm as she examined the situation. She realized that Morgan was not the true threat; her demonic blood had simply been awakened and corrupted by a dark force. The seal on Morgan's soul magic had kept her safe until now, but her vulnerability to temptation had allowed the Dimension Demon to manipulate her.
Ancient One observed the changes carefully. Morgan had become a demon due to the power in her bloodline, and though her appearance was twisted, she hadn't lost her humanity entirely. Ancient One knew that others who had been corrupted by such negative energy would have turned into mindless monsters, but Morgan's transformation was different—she had the blood of a demon, and that had made her uniquely powerful.
"You're lucky you've retained your soul," Ancient One said, her tone firm but not unkind. "But you are walking a dangerous path."
Morgan, still gripped by jealousy and desire, couldn't fully comprehend Ancient One's words. Her transformation had come with immense power, but it had also cost her part of her humanity.
Zod, now released from Morgan's spell, stayed silent, watching the exchange with measured calm. Ancient One would help Morgan in due time, but for now, Zod had seen enough to know that her battle was far from over. The Dimension Demon was still lurking, and his influence over Morgan was only growing stronger.
