A tremor rippled through the ground as the lone skeleton, still motionless until now, began to vibrate ominously.

Darkness seeped out from the defeated skeletons nearby, twisting like living shadows as it flowed into the last undead warrior.
With each tendril absorbed, the skeleton's aura expanded, growing denser, colder, and far more menacing. It exuded a familiar, chilling pressure, the kind that clawed at the soul and whispered of hopelessness. The air hung heavy, thick with fear.
The people that remained looked anxiously at their leaders, Jenny and Cynthia. Their gazes carried an unspoken question: what next? But Jenny and Cynthia didn't flinch; instead, a glimmer of white light began to emanate from each of them, growing until it engulfed their forms.
A lot of them thought they were bringing out their skills for a last stand as Jenny and Cynthia's forms were covered by a glow of radiant white.
