He didn't know if he could reveal this. Even if they were his friends, he still needed to have somethings he didn't tell them. If he told them about it, it would eventually lead to his parents, who he wasn't ready to face yet.
So, he just shook his head lightly as he was about to answer, and the girls didn't push it, they too had things they hadn't shared.
