So he would have to help. Stepping forward and stretching his hands, a mist, pale and blue light of a frozen moon streamed from his fingers, spreading in rippling waves toward the advancing creatures. It enveloped them, winding around their limbs and arm.
Once he had caught enough of them in his grasp, Jon whispered a single word: "Stop."
Instantly, the monsters froze mid-step, locked in place as if the very air had turned to stone around them.
Behind him, the evolvers stared in awe, their faces a mix of disbelief and excitement. They had never imagined such power could exist, let alone flow from Jon so effortlessly.
"Wow," Jenny murmured, her voice soft with admiration. "You've seriously leveled up."
