Lillian was happy with the scholarship program . Gosh !! Richard needs to hear about this . Where is my phone I need to call my brother ,after picking up her phone she changed her mind . Nope I won't call him . I'll use this as a surprise with his favourite food . I know he'll be happy I'm going back to school . Geez !!! Food is burning .she ran back to the kitchen . While cooking she's humming a song along with it .
Hey lily I'm back .what are you cooking ."Richard said isn't that my favourite oh my God !!! I love you lily you're the best sister I ever had ."he said . I smiled at him then told him to set the dish after that I served the food . Hey kiddo ,guess what ? He scoffed ,who's a "kiddo" you see lily stop calling me kiddo cause I'm fucking 18 . The only thing I can guess is you're going back to school . I gasped !!!how do you know . "Cause I know my beautiful sister ,that's the only thing that can make you smile.
He asked me about how I got the opportunity . I told him about it ,and I also inform him I'll be going for the registration tomorrow with ivory . After that we said our goodnight .

She woke up early the next morning ,took her bath then made breakfast . She sent message to Mrs landford she won't be able to come to work that day . While eating breakfast ,her phone rang turns out to be ivory calling she had no choice than to pick up . Hey babes ,"joyful voice of ivory was heard . Hope you're ready for today registration I'll soon get to your house make sure I meet you outside this time . She hang up without allowing her to respond . I had no choice than to wait for ivory before she gets here .
While waiting for ivory I sent a message to Richard telling him I'm going for the registration . Not long I saw ivory waving at me then I waved back telling her I'm coming . I crossed to the opposite side to meet ivory . Hey ivy ," I said . I just hope we'll register without problem . "Same here lily I hope so too ."she said . I think we should take leave from work so we'll have time to read for the upcoming exam .
We hailed a cab that took us down to the school . Woow !!!! We were surprised after entering the school gate . Seeing the majestic building with flower plantation I can't wait to get admission to my dream school . This is the definition of "My dream come true" ivory can you see that , is this a dream or a reality. I had to give myself a had pinch before realising it's never a dream .
We went to the school administrators to get our registration done . We were happy it was not stressful . We just had to fill our names and biographies . After doing that, miss clark the school administrators gave us a slip for the examination . I told ivory I need to go somewhere . We said our goodbyes at the school gate before going to my parents grave yard .

I went to my parents grave yard ,I knelt down crying hard . Mom ,Dad can you see that I've gotten an opportunity to go back to school . I'll surely make you proud of me up there . I'll study hard then become successful in life I promise . I love you and I'll take care of my brother too .after all that I dropped my flower then I went back home to start preparing for my second part time job.
I got home late luckily Richard prepare the dinner . I ate my food then went back to my room to start studying before the exam cause I made a determination to be among the top 10 getting admission . While studying I got an email message sent from the school that the exam will be taking place next two weeks . I explained the situation to my boss and I got lucky I was given two weeks off just to study well . Ivory came to my house to study as well .

The examination is taking place tomorrow , I was really nervous . Knock !knock!!knock!!! . Come in the door is open anyways ."I said . Hey lily are you nervous ,you don't have to be I believe in you . I know you can do it just put on that brave and fighting spirit ."he said you believe in me ? Thank you Richard . I don't know what I can do without you I love you . And I become bold after listening to the words of encouragement my brother said .
We went to the school for the examination , after getting to the examination hall we were given exam script . We were given one hour to finish the examination . The question is kinda hard but I believe in myself .
20 minutes more the inspector said .
After the time allocated to us is over we were told to submit . I submitted my work but I'm scared but I prayed I get choosen. I went outside to wait for ivory . While waiting I bumped into someone . Hey ,focus on where you're going beautiful . I looked up then I saw a ladylike figure in front of me ,I was lost admiring her that I forget to say sorry . Are you okay ?she waved at me bringing me back to reality . I,I, hmmm I'm fine ." I stammered . I'm sorry for bumping into you . I was t looking at where I was going . Okay no problems . Always look out for yourself miss bumper. "She said . You're beautiful ."I said . really thank you I'm Emerald by name and you ."she said . Uhmm Lillian nice meeting you . "I replied . I guess you came for the scholarship examination . Yes I said so we exchange contact then we became friends . After that ivory came out we went home together waiting for admission .

Three days after the exam the result came out .
Lily have you checked the portal the result is out . Let's check together ivory rushed to my house looking panic and I got scared too . I took my phone log in to the portal to check for our names if we're part of the lucky ones . After checking we found out our names is among the top ten . We screamed . Yes !!! We are admitted . Not long we both received notification from the school we are admitted and to resume fully to school the following week .I was happy . When Richard came back we celebrate our admission together then we started preparing for the resumption .
I entered my room then said to myself " IM IN FOR A CHANGE ". I slept off .
