"Look boy, the only reason why I helped you out of those boy's hands was just because I could not watch that happening in front of me and do nothing anymore, so that's all I can do for you, nothing else," Mike said to Jack whose face quickly took a sad and disappointed expression.
Jack could not believe that Mike had just refused his plea for help, he knew he would be in bigger trouble if those boys should ever see him alone without anyone to protect him. But he still appreciated Mike's help.
"Please, you have to help me, those boys could do worse to me when next they see me alone. I know things have just become worse because of what happened today and they would be putting out a watch on me." Jack pleaded again but mine was still not having any of it, he did not want to have anyone as a friend.
