Strolling around the busy streets was Yuanshan. Observing a large number of food stands and stores selling largely women's apparel.
He also took a closer look at a lemonade stand. For one drink, the prize was roughly fifteen bronze coins.
"System, please let me purchase money. What's the going rate?"
Additionally, the system reacted right away and without hesitation, stating that,
[there is a roughly 90% point-to-money ratio available for conversion].
Yuanshan was not very well-educated in mathematics overall. Therefore, he didn't get much comprehension.
The system proved to be a great assistance and said,
[basically, the host would receive an additional 10% if he wished to convert points into money].
"And why is that?"
Yuanshan enquired, speculating that the reason might be the points' singular existence.
And he was right.
[The host is getting an additional 10% gain because only he can generate system points.]
*Sigh* Yuanshan sighed softly in relief; 10% wasn't much, but any assistance was preferable to none at all.
Soon later, Yuanshan got lost in the city and was walking about with a sweaty face until an elderly man saw him.
"Hey young man, you look all tensed up!"
"Is there I can help you with?"
He was in his late seventies. Possessed a face that revealed his life's events and was dressed in a grey robe.
"Ummm yeah, can you please tell me about where the nearby inn is?"
Yuanshan hadn't actually talked with anyone very well, so he asked a little sheepishly and his voice sounded a little wobbly.
The elderly man quickly observed this and confidently responded, "Young fellow, why are you so shy? Gain self-assurance! For heaven's sake, these children are livelier than you!"
Yuanshan sliced his nose the moment he uttered that.
(It's an indicator that he's recovered; it can be used to belittle or mock someone tactfully or accurately.) "Okay, tell me. I'm running out of time, Yuanshan said. He spoke a little stronger this time, but he didn't hide his vulnerability.
Yuanshan felt a wave of shame and embarrassment washing over him as he walked away. "God damnit, I really had to mess up my first conversation!" he muttered to himself, the weight of the old man's words still echoing in his mind. He paused for a moment, grappling with the feeling before forcefully pushing it aside. He refused to dwell on it for the rest of the day. Determined to move on, he continued down the street, carefully navigating the various turns until he finally arrived at his destination.
Standing before him was a grand inn, its exterior adorned with intricate carvings and a large sign bearing its name. As he climbed the stairs to the second floor, he was greeted by a vibrant veranda, bustling with patrons engaged in lively conversations, sipping drinks, and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Pushing open the heavy oak wood door, he stepped into the central area of the inn, where a diverse crowd of people filled the space. Among them, he noticed a group of tightly armored guards meticulously inspecting the guests and their belongings for any signs of trouble. Suddenly, his attention was drawn to a commotion as the guards apprehended a weary old man who had been attempting to smuggle drugs for his addiction. The old man pleaded with the guards, his voice filled with desperation and fear as he tried to justify his actions, but it was clear that he was in a difficult situation.
"C-come o-on, let t-this old man g-get his ... Arghhh! W-why are you hitting m-me?"
The man protested with all the reasons available in the world. Altering them to fit his advantage more.
"Arrgghhh!!! H-hheellppp m-meee! T-the-ese scoundrels a--are sss-showing... Aaregggh!! These a-arr assaulting m-mmeee fffoorr ggooddss ssaakkee. Why y-you are a-aa-ll leavvin this o-old man toooo rroott!?!! The t-tthhiiss world is too c-creul!!! "
The air was pierced by a desperate cry for help as the old man's voice quivered with fear and anguish. His words were disjointed and filled with terror, conveying a sense of imminent danger. The guards swiftly intervened, apprehending the distressed man and restoring a semblance of calm to the surroundings.
Amidst the ensuing silence, the mistress of the inn made her entrance, a vision of elegance in her exquisite red robe. Despite the weight of years, her radiant smile conveyed a warmth that belied her age, bringing a sense of reassurance to the hushed central area.
As Yuanshan approached the receptionist area, several young ladies greeted him with warmth. She greeted him and inquired as to which floor he would choose for his accommodation.
Yuanshan requested a room on the third floor.
With great enthusiasm, the receptionist handed up five silver from Yuanshan.
Yuanshan spent a lot of points on this, but in exchange, he received a nice, quiet, and cozy room. A tad opulent as well.
So in his opinion, it was fair.
"Do you want to have a weekly membership with our Yao Wang Inn House?. It is only 5 silver and you may get a lot of extra services along as well"
Yuanshan quietly rejected and he shortly climbed upstairs the large stairs.
He first arrived at the second floor. The grand veranda stretched quite a distance, and there were many rooms on his back.
The wood was attractive, and the materials were used in an effective way.
He soon ascended the steps and gave his third-level token to a line of silver guards, greeting them.
He approached and quickly arrived at his third-floor room.
Due to the fact that he was the second quest recipient of the third-floor token.
His lavish and spotless chamber greets him as he slides open the door, along with the smell of steaming incense.
The size of the room was twice as large as the lower levels.
In addition to numerous pots filled with green plants, there were wrapped blankets, a cozy bed, and a sofa.
"Few~"
Yuanshan fell on his cozy bed and lavished its coziness and softness.
Instantly sleeping unrestrained.
