When Mrs. Dayna opened the door and she saw Jerry and Mrs. Xavier were standing outside. She welcomed them by asking them to come inside.
Mrs. Dayna hugged Jerry and said to him,
"I'm so sorry dear that I could not come to meet you, I had a lot of work in my office. You should know since you have your own business."
Jui was very excited to see Jerry. Mrs. Xavier said to her, Jui dear, "you are looking so gorgeous, isn't she Jerry?" "Yes, she is", Jerry replied to her. Hearing this Jui felt a little shy as she was waiting to hear these words from his mouth. Seeing Jui's father Mrs. Xavier asked him, "what a pleasant surprise!!! how are you Jack?"
"I'm fine Mrs. Xavier, how's your health?"
"It is the same as it was before."
"How about you Jerry? I'm seeing you after a long time." He asked Jerry
"I'm good uncle."
"Why are you guys standing like that, please be seated." Dayna said to them
When Jerry and Mrs. Xavier sat on the sofa Mrs. Dayna asked to him,
"So how was your trip?"
"It was fine, our meeting went very well, we got a new project to work on."
"That's a great news. Jui was telling me about you that you worked so hard in your office."
Jerry looked at Jui and said "thanks" to her.
"Yes, he is really serious about his work, as you seen how much hard work he had done for many years to make our company this big" Mrs. Xavier replied to Dayna
"Yes, we all know. And we are so proud of him."
Mrs. Dayna then called one of her maid and asked her to prepare the table for dinner.
"I'm really happy to see you here." Mrs. Xavier told to Jui's father
"Well, it's a special opportunity to spend time with all of you, as you guys are my only family so when Dayna invited me, I didn't want to miss this."
"It's really great of you because I know you are a busy man and you always had your own schedule."
" Naaaah , I never gave priority to my works more than family as I think we should spend time with family whenever it is possible."
Mrs. Dayna was felling really annoyed by hearing his words. She seemed so disturb to hearing him.
"Mam, the table is ready" … the maid said to Mrs. Dayna. They all went to the table together and sat down, Mrs. Xavier was really surprised to see so many arrangements. she said to Mrs. Dayna,
"Why did you go through so much trouble for all of these arrangement? We are part of your family, you didn't have to do this…"
"oh please Mrs. Xavier, it's not a matter of fact besides Jui made these all by her own hand". She replied to Mrs. Xavier. Hearing this Jui looked at her mother in a surprising way as she didn't make a single of food item that was on the table, all of them were brought from some expensive restaurant. Her mother then beckoned her with her eyes, not to say a word.
"Really? Then I must try… saying this Mrs. Xavier picked some curry's from the bowl.,"Yummmmmm, wow, its taste absolutely amazing…I must say you have a great cooking skills dear". She said to Jui.
Jui was happy to hear it and waited for jerry to say something. But Jerry didn't say a word to her instead he just focused on his eating. When the dinner was over they all went to the living room,
"Kids, will you excuse us for a moment, I have to talk to Mrs. Xavier about something until then Jui, you can take Jerry with you and show him around our house." Dayna said to them
"Okay, Mom."
Hearing this despite of his (Jerry's) unwillingness, he had to go with her.
"Did you talk to him?" Dayna asked Mrs. Xavier
"No, I haven't had a chance yet." Mrs. Xavier replied to her
"How long will this will take, you said you will talk to him about it after he come back from his trip."
"I know but his mental condition still isn't recovered yet. He still misses Amy."
"Of course he will until someone entered his life he will still remember about his past. You know how much my daughter care about him, how long she has been waiting for him to accept her. You promise me that you would get them together, then what's happened now?"
"I know that there will be no one better for him then Jui. And I also wanted her to be my granddaughter in law but I can't force him to be in a relationship with Jui as it can backfire both of them, I can't impose my choice on him. I want him to accept Jui on his own. So give them some time, I know Jui will win his heart."
But.. .. (Dayna)
"she is right, why are you rushing so much? we can't force them to be together, we should give them some time. It's their life so let them decide it on their own," Mick entered the room and said to Dayna before she could say something…
"Well, then I have to do something about it." (hearing Mrs. Xavier , Dayna said this in her mind)
Jerry and Jui both were standing on the balcony, jui was looking at him in fascination but Jerry wasn't concern about it, he was busy in texting someone on his phone.
"I guess you are talking to someone really important," Jui said to him by coming closer to him
Hearing this, Jerry put the phone in his pocket by looking at her,
"I'm sorry, it was from office as I'm facing a lot's of problem nowadays.
"What happened? You can tell me if you want.". (she gently asked him)
"It's just someone who was really close and faithful to me has broken my trust."
"Really, who is it?" She asked him in shocked
"It one of my staff's…"
"So did you do something about it?"
"Not yet but I'll. By the way you are looking really gorgeous." He gave her this compliment by smiling at her. Hearing this Jui felt very shy, she was blushing so much that didn't hide from his eyes.
"Your smile is very sweet though."
"Really? At last you notice it." she said to him
"I'm sorry that I didn't talked to you properly. Actually there was so much pressure in the office that I didn't get a proper chance to talk to you. I hope you will forgive me for this."
"Don't mention it, you came here for me it means a lot to me and also you are forgiven already." they both looked at each other's eyes and smiled….
"Thanks for having us". Mrs. Xavier said this by hugging Mrs. Dayna when they were about to leave their house.
"It was my pleasure, thanks for coming" … Dayna replied to Jerry and Mrs. Xavier.
"Thanks Mick, hope to see you soon".. she said to Jui's father.
"Of course Mrs. Xavier." Mick replied to her.
Before went on his car Jerry said to Jui "thanks for the dinner" and hugged her in front of every one. Seeing this his grandmother and Mr. Dayna was really happy as it was something that they wished for a long time.
When they left with his car Dayna hugged Jui and asked her , " Did you guys have a good time?"
She gave the answer by giving her a sweet smile.
