The morning crept in, bringing with it a soft flush of sunlight that seeped through the curtains, casting a warm caress on my face and rousing me from slumber.
As I slowly opened my eyes, I was greeted by the warm sunlight streaming through the curtains, its gentle rays caressing my face like a soft whisper. I felt the softness of my bed beneath me, and the tranquility of the moment wrapped around me like a cozy blanket. Outside my room, I could hear Jenna bustling about in the kitchen, her movements a familiar soundtrack to my mornings.
I stretched, feeling the warmth of the sunbeams dancing across my skin, and savored the peacefulness of the moment. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, enticing me to start the day. I couldn't help but smile, feeling grateful for this little slice of heaven.I stood up, my gaze fell upon the city outside my window, its towering skyscrapers and bustling streets a stark contrast to the serene haven of my bedroom. I felt a sense of excitement about the day ahead, knowing that it would bring its own set of challenges and opportunities I suppose.
After a quick workout and shower, I slipped into my favorite outfit – a sleek black dress, paired with statement heels
Walking into the kitchen, Jenna greeted me with a warm smile and a steaming cup of coffee sided by a flakey croissant.
"Good morning, Lexi! Big day today, huh?"
"Hey, Jenna! How's my schedule looking?" I called out.
"Right on track, Lexi," Jenna replied, handing me a steaming cup of coffee "Interview's at 10 am. We should arrive by 9:30"
I nodded, taking a sip of the coffee. "Yeah, This interview with Media Entertainment could be a game-changer."
Jenna nodded enthusiastically. "You're going to rock it, Lexi! You've prepared so well. Just be yourself and let your passion shine through."
I smiled, feeling a surge of gratitude towards Jenna. "Thanks, Jenna. You're always so supportive. What would I do without you?"
Jenna chuckled. "You'd probably be a hot mess, but don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. Now, let's go over the questions they might ask you, just to make sure you're ready."
We spent the next hour reviewing possible questions and answers, Jenna offering valuable insights and suggestions
"Thanks, Jenna. You're the best assistant a girl could ask for," I said, giving her a hug.
Jenna smiled. "Anytime, Lexi. Now, let's get you ready to knock their socks off!"
I took another sip of the coffee and nibbled on the croissant savoring the rich flavour altogether "Perfect. Let's get going."
As we zoomed through the city in my sleek sedan, Jenna briefed me on the interview once more
"Rachel Ryan's known for her tough questions," Jenna warned.
I smiled confidently. "Bring it on."
We arrived at the luxurious hotel suite in LA, cameras flashing as we stepped out. I took a deep breath, ready to own the day.
"Let's do this," I said to Jenna, striding into the hotel.
The interview awaited, and I was more than ready.
As I settle into the plush sofa, I flash a bright smile at the camera. Jenna, my trusted sidekick, gives me a thumbs-up from beside me. Rachel Ryan, the seasoned journalist, raises an eyebrow.
"Lexi, you're looking radiant tonight," Rachel says. "But I'm sure our audience wants more than just your stunning looks."
I chuckle, my dry humor kicking in. "Well, Rachel, I'm glad you noticed. But don't worry, I'll try to keep my ego in check."
The limited public sitting audience laughed, and I felt a surge of confidence. This is my domain.
Rachel dives into the questions. "Your latest project has generated immense buzz. What inspired this new direction?"
I lean in, my voice dripping with conviction. "I wanted to push boundaries, take risks. And honestly, I'm tired of playing the same roles. It's time to shake things up."
Jenna nods in agreement, her eyes sparkling with pride.
Rachel presses on. "And what about the open casting call? Some critics say it's a publicity stunt."
I raise an eyebrow, my humor kicking in once again. "Publicity stunt? Me? Never." I winked at the camera. "But seriously, I want to give opportunities to fresh talent. It's time to shake up the industry and I hope the upcoming audition next weekend will witness the best talents"
The audience laughs again, and I felt a sense of satisfaction.
As the interview progresses, I feeded questions with ease, my confidence and humor shining through.
Wrapping up the interview, Rachel thanked me for my candor. I stood up, smoothing my dress, and blowing a kiss to the camera.
"That's a wrap, folks. Thanks for tuning in."
Jenna hands me a glass of champagne, I took a sip, savoring the moment.
"That was a breeze," I said to Jenna, grinning.
"You nailed it, Lexi!" she replied , smiling ear to ear
I smiled back, feeling unstoppable. This is my world, and I'm loving every minute of it.
