Chapter 13 - Iron man & Hulk vs The Abomination

Malibu Mansion

As the morning light filtered through the sleek glass walls of Stark's Malibu mansion, the atmosphere buzzed with a mix of anticipation and tension. Tony Stark stood in front of a large holographic display, while Bruce Banner sat at a nearby workstation, surrounded by an array of tools and components. They were on the verge of finalizing the suit that would help Bruce manage his transformation into the Hulk—an endeavor that had consumed them both for days.

"Alright, Bruce, let's go over the final adjustments,"

Tony said, adjusting the holographic interface with a flick of his wrist. The suit materialized in front of them, a sleek, armored exoskeleton designed to withstand the immense gamma energy fluctuations that Bruce experienced during his transformations.

Bruce leaned forward, scrutinizing the intricate design. "The containment field needs to be more adaptive. We want it to respond to my gamma levels in real-time, especially during the initial phase of the transformation."

"Agreed,"

Tony replied, tapping a few buttons to highlight the energy absorption nodes embedded in the suit.

"I've incorporated a dynamic feedback loop that should recalibrate the containment field based on the gamma signature. If it works, it'll stabilize your energy levels and prevent any potential overload."

Bruce nodded, though a hint of anxiety lingered in his eyes.

"But what if the transformation is too sudden? I need to know the suit can handle a rapid surge in gamma radiation without breaking down."

Tony grinned, his confidence shining through.

"That's why we've reinforced the exoskeleton with titanium nanocomposite. It's tougher than anything you've encountered before and can absorb and redistribute energy efficiently. It'll act as a buffer during your transformation. And once you transform the suit will adjust to your body shape accordingly enhancing its durability and help you corporate with hulk."

Bruce's eyebrows raised, impressed.

"It should enhance the suit's durability and make it far less likely to shatter under pressure."

"Exactly. Plus, I've integrated an AI companion into the suit—think of it as a mini-JARVIS,"

Tony continued, gesturing to a small interface built into the forearm of the suit.

"All right, big guy,"

Tony said, breaking the silence.

"This is it. Your gamma fluctuations should be stabilized, and the suit will handle the brunt of the transformation, leaving the Hulk… cooperative."

Bruce nodded absently, his mind elsewhere. Tony's words faded into the background as he stared at the green-lit core of the suit.

(It looked like an evolution of the Hulk buster, but sleeker, more refined, designed not to restrain the Hulk but to enhance him.)

It was time.

"Are you sure you're ready for this?"

Tony's voice cut through Bruce's haze.

"Does it matter?"

Bruce replied, forcing a weak smile.

"It's not like I have a choice. Blonsky is out there. Ross isn't far behind. We need the Hulk—at his best."

Tony raised a brow.

"I'm just saying, the Hulk doesn't exactly have a stellar record when it comes to teamwork."

Bruce turned away, his fists clenching at his sides.

"That's what I'm going to fix."

He swallowed hard.

"I'm… going to talk to him."

Tony's eyes widened.

"You sure that's a good idea? Hulk isn't exactly the negotiating type."

Bruce exhaled slowly, his nerves raw.

"He and I… We've avoided each other for too long. He's angry. I'm tired. We need to work this out, or we're both going to lose."

"What about the suit's mobility? If I'm going to be fighting off the Hulk, I need to be able to move freely, especially during a transformation."

Tony nodded thoughtfully.

"I've designed the joints with a synthetic polymer that enhances flexibility without sacrificing strength. It should allow for a full range of motion, even at peak stress. And the exoskeleton can adapt its weight distribution to minimize any restrictions during your movements."

"Sounds great, but we also need to consider the power source,"

Bruce added, his scientific mind racing through the logistics.

"The suit has to support the containment field, the AI, and any additional features we might need in a high-stress environment."

"Already on it,"

Tony said, his fingers dancing over the holographic controls.

"I've developed a compact arc reactor specifically for this purpose. It's small enough to fit within the suit's chest compartment and powerful enough to sustain everything. Plus, it's designed to harness gamma energy as a secondary power source—like a backup battery if your levels fluctuate."

"Now that's genius,"

Bruce said, a genuine smile breaking through his usual anxiety.

"If we can harness my gamma, it'll make the suit even more effective. But how will it handle any fluctuations?"

Tony waved his hand dismissively, confidence brimming.

"We'll just set the AI to calibrate the reactor's output based on your gamma levels. If it detects instability, it can modulate the output in real time to keep everything in check. We'll also program it to alert you when you're reaching your limits."

As they finalized the suit's specifications, a tension in the air began to simmer, but neither Tony nor Bruce noticed. They were too engrossed in their work, piecing together a solution to a problem that had plagued Bruce for years. But outside, the ominous rumble of the Abomination's rampage was drawing nearer, a reminder that their time was running out.

"With this final upload it should be ready"

Tony says as he enters the final coding of the suit before entering the button to upload the code

"And we'll be ready to test it. Are you feeling good about this?"

Bruce took a deep breath, his nerves coiling but his resolve strengthening.

"I am. With this suit, I might finally have a way to talk to the Hulk, I have always tried to control him and never thought of cooperating with this should help me and him both"

As the pair worked furiously to complete the suit, a warning across screens: Gamma anomaly detected.

"Sir, you need to see this,"

JARVIS announced, and a holographic display materialized in front of them. The chaotic scene showed the Abomination rampaging through the city, his massive frame wreaking havoc as he tossed vehicles aside and sent terrified citizens fleeing for their lives.

Tony's expression hardened as he scanned the footage.

"Well, that's not good,"

He muttered, already calculating their next move. He turned to Bruce, who was frozen in place, eyes wide with a mix of fear and determination.

"Stay here, Bruce. The suit isn't ready yet, and I can't risk you getting caught in the crossfire."

"But Tony, the Abomination is dangerous! We can't just let him go on like this!"

Bruce protested, desperation creeping into his voice.

"Exactly why I'm not letting you join this fight, until you reach an agreement with Hulk"

Tony replied firmly.

"We need you and hulk at your best this is your chance to finally have a peace and cooperation with him and you can't let anything interfere this, I can handle the abomination don't worry"

Bruce opened his mouth to argue but quickly shut it, recognizing the resolve in Tony's eyes.

"Fine but be careful. He's strong, Tony. He won't hold back."

"I know,"

Tony said, a smirk creeping onto his face as he activated the suit's systems.

"But neither will I."

He stepped back and let the Mark 49 suit envelop him, the sleek armor gleaming as it assembled around his body. The familiar whirring and clicking of the nanotech suit filled the room, and within moments, he was ready for battle. The helmet sealed shut, and he could feel the suit's systems synchronizing with his own.

"JARVIS, set a course for downtown,"

he commanded, his voice steady and confident.

"Send an city wide alert to clear the area."

"Understood, sir. Engaging flight mode now,"

JARVIS replied as the lab around them began to shift, the walls opening to reveal the launch bay. Tony stepped forward, and with a powerful thrust, he took off into the sky.

Bruce could see as Tony goes off to face the abomination, he turned his attention towards the suit he stepped into the suit, the cool metal closing around him, fusing with his body's energy. The gamma core pulsed as it synced with his cells, and he felt the familiar, terrifying surge begin. The transformation took hold quickly this time, the green rushing into his veins. But there was something different—control, a balance between man and monster.

Then, the world around him seemed to dissolve, and Bruce found himself standing in a vast, endless landscape of rock and ash. The sky was a sickly green, swirling with clouds of gamma energy. Before him stood the Hulk, his massive form looming like a living mountain. His eyes glowed with fury, but there was a strange quiet in them. He was waiting.

Bruce took a deep breath. "We need to talk."

Tony pov

As he soared above the city, the chaos below grew clearer. Smoke billowed into the sky, and the sounds of destruction echoed off the buildings. He could see the Abomination, massive and furious, his fists pounding into the asphalt as he let out a roar of primal rage.

Tony activated the suit's targeting systems, locking onto the Abomination's position.

With a swift maneuver, he descended toward the ground, landing with a thunderous impact just a few yards away from the creature. Dust and debris kicked up around him, but he remained unfazed, the suit absorbing the shock with ease.

"Hey, ugly!"

Tony shouted; his voice amplified by the suit's speakers.

"You've picked the wrong day to throw a tantrum! How about we take this party somewhere less populated?"

The Abomination turned, his eyes narrowing as he focused on Tony. The creature's expression morphed from confusion to rage, a growl rumbling deep in his throat as he took a step forward.

"You think you can stop me with the help of a tin can?"

Tony grinned beneath his helmet, adjusting his stance.

"Oh, I'm a lot more than that."

With that, he launched himself toward the Abomination, propelling himself through the air with jets of repulsor energy. The two figures clashed, a brutal exchange of power and fury echoing through the city as Tony fought to contain the chaos.

"JARVIS, keep me updated on Bruce's progress,"

Tony shouted as he dodged a massive swing from the Abomination, countering with a well-aimed blast from his repulsor.

"I need him ready for round two!"

"Processing, sir. Dr. Banner seems to be still in discussion with the hulk"

JARVIS replied, his voice calm amidst the chaos.

"Great"

Tony muttered, rolling to the side as the Abomination charged him, ready to unleash all his pent-up rage on Ironman and the city.

Tony's mind raced with tactics and calculations. He needed to keep the Abomination occupied long enough for Bruce to finish. The fate of both their lives—and the city—depended on it.

"Alright, big guy,"

Tony muttered to himself, steeling his nerves.

"Time to show you what a real suit can do."

He descended swiftly, the thrusters on his boots igniting as he zeroed in on the Abomination.

With a precise movement, Tony activated his HUD, locking onto the creature.

"Let's do this!"

With a flick of his wrists, Tony unleashed a barrage of high-energy repulsor blasts. Each one exploded against Blonsky's chest and shoulders, forcing him back step by step. Abomination roared in defiance, shielding his face as the plasma scorched his thick skin, but the attacks were far from enough to take him down.

Tony zipped to the left, firing twin lasers from his gauntlets aimed directly at Blonsky's knees. The beams cut into the mutant's flesh, drawing a furious bellow of pain. Blonsky swung wildly in retaliation, smashing through the air where Tony had been hovering just seconds earlier.

"Missed me," Tony quipped, soaring upward.

the Abomination bellowed, shaking off the attack with a grimace.

Blonsky growled in frustration and, with a display of brute strength, tore a large section of pavement from the ground, hurling it like a massive boulder straight toward Tony. The slab spun through the air with devastating speed.

"Incoming object at high velocity," JARVIS warned.

Tony's reaction was immediate. He deployed shields, but instead of taking the hit, he twisted into a spin, letting the shield absorb part of the impact and diverting the massive projectile just off course. The slab smashed into the side of a building, sending debris raining down, but Tony was already on the move.

the Abomination roared, regaining his footing and swiping at Tony with a massive fist. Tony twisted in mid-air, dodging the blow and feeling the rush of wind as the fist passed just inches from him.

With a flicker of blue light, the Mark 49's arm panels shifted, releasing two energy disks that buzzed through the air like high-speed saw blades. They zoomed straight for Blonsky's legs. This time, the disks dug deeper into his skin, cutting across his calves and forcing him to one knee with a roar of fury. The disks were locked on to him moving around cutting him again and again ,while he was busy dealing with the disks.

Tony noticed a group of civilians trapped in a nearby building, terrified and unable to escape.

"JARVIS, can you get me a read on their location?"

Tony asked, his voice steady despite the chaos around him.

"Target acquired, sir. They're on the third floor, near the northwest corner,"

JARVIS replied, his voice calm and reassuring.

"Hang tight, folks! I'll be right there!"

Tony called out, diverting his attention. He rocketed toward the building, his suit's sensors flaring as he assessed the situation. Without a second thought, he blasted through the window, shards of glass cascading behind him as he landed in a crouched position.

"Follow me! I'll get you out!"

He instructed the civilians, masking his identity behind the suit's sleek exterior.

They were frightened but nodded, eager to escape the unfolding nightmare. Tony led them through the debris-laden hallways, keeping an eye on the chaos outside as the Abomination continued its rampage. Just as they reached the stairwell, a massive roar echoed, shaking the building.

"Stay close!"

Tony urged, guiding them down the stairs. The tremors beneath their feet warned him the Abomination was nearing. He could hear the thundering footsteps growing closer, and the urgency in his voice heightened.

"We need to move faster!"

As they reached the ground floor, Tony scanned the area and spotted a back exit leading to an alleyway.

"This way!"

he called out, ushering them through the door. As they emerged into the sunlight, he turned back to assess the situation.

The Abomination had leveled part of the street, and he could see debris falling from buildings above. Tony felt a pang of concern for the civilians still trapped in the chaos.

"JARVIS, can you pinpoint any more civilians in danger?"

"Scanning now, sir. Multiple signatures detected in the vicinity," JARVIS responded.

"Okay, let's do this,"

Tony said, turning to the group.

"You all need to find somewhere safe. Get to the nearest shelter, and don't stop running."

With the civilians out of harm's way, Tony zipped back into the fray, his suit igniting with energy. The Abomination had finally destroyed the disks, and Tony knew he had to act fast. Seizing the opportunity, Tony unleashed a concentrated Unibeam from his chest plate. The bright beam lanced out, hitting Abomination square in the chest and pushing him backward through the crumbling remains of a storefront. But even as dust and smoke filled the air, Tony's sensors blared warnings—Blonsky wasn't done yet.

From within the wreckage, Abomination exploded outward with terrifying speed, leaping high into the air. Tony's HUD flashed as he anticipated the attack, rocketing backward, but Blonsky was faster than expected. The Abomination grabbed Tony by the ankle, yanking him out of the sky like a fly caught in a web.

"Gotcha!" Blonsky bellowed, swinging Tony down into the street with bone-shattering force.

The ground shook as Tony's suit crashed into the pavement, cratering the road beneath him. His systems flared with damage warnings, and for a moment, his HUD flickered.

"Structural damage: 7%. Stabilizing," JARVIS announced as Tony lay momentarily stunned.

Blonsky wasn't going to give him time to recover. He leaped forward, both massive fists raised to hammer down on Tony's prone form. But before they could land, Tony's boot thrusters flared to life, sending him skidding backward just out of range.

"Okay, big guy," Tony groaned. "Time to play dirty."

From his back-mounted panels, Tony launched a cluster of micro-missiles that curved through the air and zeroed in on Blonsky. They detonated on impact, creating a ring of fiery explosions around the Abomination, who stumbled and roared in frustration as flames licked at his skin.

But Blonsky was relentless. Shaking off the blasts, he charged through the fire, moving like a freight train toward Tony. His massive fist shot out, aiming for Tony's chest, but this time, Tony was ready. At the last second, Tony side-stepped and grabbed Blonsky's arm, using the suit's enhanced thrusters to twist and pivot.

With a deafening crash, Tony hurled Blonsky over his shoulder and into a nearby wall. The concrete shattered on impact, and Blonsky roared as he struggled to free himself from the rubble. But Tony didn't give him time to recover.

"Let's see how you handle this."

Tony's Unibeam glowed with raw energy. He aimed it directly at Blonsky, the power humming as it charged up.

"Say cheese,"

Tony said with a smirk, before unleashing a devastating beam. The beam of energy slammed into Blonsky, pushing him deeper into the building. The force of the blast sent shockwaves through the streets, windows shattering in every direction as the beam crackled with violent intensity.

Just as he prepared to unleash another attack, Tony felt the familiar surge of energy coursing through him. The super-soldier serum he had injected himself with gave him enhanced strength and agility, and he decided to put it to use.

"Time to up the ante,"

He muttered to himself. With a burst of speed, he closed the distance between them, throwing a series of powerful punches that utilized both his enhanced strength and the suit's advanced technology. Each blow landed with a devastating impact, causing the Abomination to stagger back.

The creature roared in frustration, swinging wildly, but Tony's agility allowed him to dodge with ease. He used the moment to vault off a nearby car, launching himself into a spinning kick that connected with the Abomination's jaw, sending it reeling.

"Come on, big guy! Is that the best you can do?"

Tony shouted, relishing the fight.

Just then, he noticed a group of firefighters trapped under a fallen beam nearby.

"JARVIS, can you lift that beam?"

he asked, while moving toward the civilians.

"Affirmative, sir. Initiating lift protocol,"

JARVIS replied. The suit hummed as it activated, and Tony braced himself as the beam was lifted from the firefighters.

"Go! Get out of here!"

he urged, and they scrambled away, grateful for the intervention. As they fled to safety, Tony turned back to the Abomination, who was now angrier than ever.

The creature charged again, and this time Tony didn't wait to dodge. He stood his ground, harnessing the full strength of the serum along with his suit's capabilities. He met the charge head-on, delivering a powerful uppercut that sent the Abomination tumbling backward, crashing into a row of cars.

"Now we're talking!"

Tony exclaimed, heart racing as he pressed the advantage. He leapt into the air, performing a double kick that struck the Abomination square in the chest, sending shockwaves through the street.

With the Abomination momentarily stunned, Tony took a quick breath, ready to finish this. He activated his suit's secondary systems, charging up for a more powerful assault.

"This ends now!"

Meanwhile With Bruce Pov

Bruce took a deep breath.

"We need to talk."

The Hulk growled, the sound reverberating through the ground.

"Hulk doesn't talk. Hulk SMASH."

"I know,"

Bruce said carefully.

"But we can't keep doing this. You want to fight, I get that. You want to be free. But I'm tired of running, tired of hiding from you. We're stuck with each other, whether we like it or not."

Hulk's fists clenched, his massive frame trembling with barely contained rage.

"Hulk fights. Banner hides. Banner is weak."

"Not anymore,"

 Bruce replied, standing his ground.

"I'm not asking you to stop fighting. I'm asking you to fight smarter. Together."

Hulk snarled, taking a step forward.

"Why? Hulk strongest there is. Hulk doesn't need Banner."

"Then why do you keep getting hunted?"

Bruce shot back, his voice rising.

"Why does Ross, Blonsky—why do they keep coming after you? You're strong, but that's not enough. They'll keep coming, Hulk, until they find a way to stop you for good."

Hulk paused, his growl deepening. He hated the idea that anyone could stop him.

"What does Banner want?"

Bruce looked him in the eyes.

"I want to make a deal. You want to fight? Fine. I'll let you. I won't stop you. But in return, you don't hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it. No more innocent people getting caught in the crossfire. You only fight the ones who come for us. The ones who deserve it."

Hulk's glare softened, just a fraction.

"Hulk… likes fighting."

"I know you do,"

Bruce said.

"And I'll let you fight. I'll even help you find stronger opponents. But you need to promise me, no more hurting the innocent."

There was a long silence as Hulk seemed to wrestle with the offer. His massive hands flexed, his breathing heavy. The idea of limiting his destruction clearly grated on him, but the promise of stronger foes intrigued him.

"Hulk… promises,"

he finally said, his voice low but firm.

"But Banner keeps word. Hulk fights."

Bruce nodded, relief washing over him.

"I'll keep my word."

Suddenly, the gamma world around them flickered, and Bruce was snapped back to reality, the lab reappearing as his mind reconnected with his body. He could feel the Hulk still there, but quieter, not pushing for control. They had reached an understanding.

"JARVIS lock me to Tony coordinates hurry up."

He says urgently.

"Yes sir"

Back with Tony

Just as the Abomination's fist came crashing down toward Tony, the ground trembled again—this time from something far larger.

From behind the crumbling buildings, a massive figure emerged—a fusion of man and monster, clad in towering armor. Hulk, wearing the gamma-powered Hulk buster armor, thundered onto the battlefield. The armor, designed by Tony and Bruce, gleamed with green energy, its plating bulging and shifting to accommodate Hulk's massive muscles while integrating Banner's intelligence.

"Wow,"

Tony muttered, getting to his feet.

"Now that is an entrance."

Hulk turned to Tony, his face twisted into a grin.

"Hulk help puny Stark."

"Glad you could make it, big guy,"

Tony quipped.

"You take over from here. I will clear the civilians "

Abomination snarled as he spotted his long-awaited opponent.

"Banner! You think a suit will save you?"

Inside the Hulk buster, Bruce was calm. For once, he and Hulk were working in unison. His voice came through the suit's comms, resonating with both determination and a hint of amusement.

"I'm not here to save myself, Blonsky. I'm here to save them."

Hulk grinned, cracking his knuckles.

"And Hulk… here to SMASH YOU."

The Abomination charged, fists pounding the ground, sending shockwaves through the street. But Hulk, wearing the suit, was faster than usual. With Bruce's tactical input, they moved as one. Hulk's raw power, combined with Banner's precision and strategy, made them unstoppable.

Abomination swung his colossal fist, aiming to flatten Hulk. But this time, Hulk ducked under the blow, his armoured fist glowing with gamma energy. In perfect synchronization, Bruce and Hulk launched a counterattack.

"Hulk, now!" Bruce called from within the mindscape.

Hulk roared and thrust his fist forward, connecting with Blonsky's jaw in an uppercut that sent him airborne, crashing through a nearby building. Abomination hit the ground with an earth-shaking thud, groaning in pain as he staggered to his feet.

Hulk wasted no time. With a leap that cracked the earth beneath him, he was on Blonsky, slamming his armoured fists into the Abomination's chest with brutal precision. Each blow echoed like thunder, reverberating through the city.

Inside the suit, Bruce's voice was calm and focused.

"Hulk, keep the pressure on! His spine is vulnerable near the base—aim for that."

Hulk grinned savagely.

"Hulk and Banner SMASH TOGETHER!"

As Abomination swung wildly, Hulk grabbed his arm and twisted, using the Hulk buster armour's enhanced strength to dislocate Blonsky's shoulder with a sickening crack. Abomination howled in pain, his bony spikes rattling as he tried to shake Hulk off.

"Banner's helping you now?"

Abomination growled through gritted teeth, his voice filled with fury.

"You're still just a monster."

Hulk's eyes narrowed, his voice a low growl.

"Hulk stronger… smarter… because of Banner."

Before Blonsky could respond, Hulk's massive armoured foot slammed into his knee, bringing him crashing down onto the street. With Blonsky temporarily immobilized, Hulk grabbed him by the throat, lifting him into the air with one hand, the gamma energy from the suit flaring as Hulk's rage intensified.

Bruce's voice echoed inside Hulk's mind.

"Hulk, don't kill him. We're better than him."

Hulk hesitated, his grip tightening around Blonsky's throat. The monster in him wanted to end it, to crush Blonsky once and for all, but Bruce's influence was there, calming, guiding.

"Hulk doesn't kill,"

Hulk muttered, tossing Blonsky aside like a ragdoll.

"But Hulk makes sure you stay down."

Before Abomination could get up, Hulk reared back, drawing on every ounce of strength in his massive form. His gamma-charged fist slammed into Blonsky's chest with the force of a meteor, creating a shockwave that rippled through the streets. The ground beneath them cratered, and the Abomination was hurled across the city, smashing through several buildings before skidding to a stop, unmoving.

The battlefield fell silent, dust settling in the wake of Hulk's devastating blow.

{If you are wondering how Bruce is talking he is in Hulks mindscape occasionally taking over and talking else giving hulk advice, It is similar to Naruto and Kurama if you have seen the anime.}

Inside the Suit

Bruce exhaled in relief, feeling the adrenaline ebb.

"We did it, Hulk."

Hulk, still in control but calmer now, grunted in satisfaction.

"Hulk and Banner strong together."

In the distance, Tony, walked toward them.

"You know, I've got to say,"

He huffed, clearly impressed,

"That was probably the best tag-team I've ever seen. Banner coaching, Hulk smashing—brilliant."

Hulk turned toward Tony, a grin spreading across his face.

"Hulk better than puny Stark."

Tony chuckled, lifting his gauntlet in surrender.

"I'm not even arguing with that."

Bruce chuckled, nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, let's get out of here before they start asking too many questions."

Suddenly, the heavy footsteps of General Thaddeus Ross echoed through the street. With a stern expression, he marched toward the two heroes, flanked by military personnel.

"You're both under arrest for unauthorized use of military technology and reckless endangerment!"

Tony turned to Bruce, a smirk forming on his lips.

"Looks like we're popular,"

he quipped, turning his attention back to Ross.

"But I think you're misunderstanding the situation here. We just saved this city."

Ross stepped closer, eyes narrowing.

"You think you can just play vigilante without consequences? You're both going to pay for this—"

Before Ross could finish his threat, the unmistakable sound of jet engines roared overhead. A sleek S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet descended from the sky, its spotlight sweeping across the scene. The doors burst open, and agents poured out, ready to take control.

"General Ross!"

a familiar voice boomed from the jet. It was Nick Fury, his demeanour commanding as he stepped forward.

"You're out of your jurisdiction."

Ross's face reddened with fury.

"This is a military operation, Fury! These both vigilante need to be arrested immediately!"

Fury raised an eyebrow, unyielding.

"Actually, General, I think you're the one who's about to be detained. You've been interfering with an ongoing investigation and endangering lives."

As the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents began to surround Ross, Tony seized the moment. He took a step forward, lifting his helmet and revealing his identity to the gathering crowd, his expression confident.

"I'm Tony Stark!" he declared, his voice ringing out.

The crowd erupted into cheers, their admiration for the heroes evident. Flashbulbs popped as news cameras captured the moment, broadcasting it live. Tony smiled, feeding off the energy.

"We just fought to protect this city, and we're not the villains here!"

Ross sputtered in disbelief,

"You can't just—"

"Actually, I just did,"

Before Ross could regain his composure, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents moved in, securing him with handcuffs.

"General, you're being detained for your actions and for the harassment of two individuals who just helped save countless lives,"

Fury stated firmly, glancing at the crowd.

"We're all aware of your history."

The crowd roared with approval, cheering for Stark.

agents led Ross away.

"You can't do this!"

Ross shouted, struggling against the agents.

"I have orders!"

Fury simply shook his head, unperturbed.

"Orders that put civilians at risk? I think not."

As Ross was escorted to the Quinjet, Tony turned back to Bruce, their eyes meeting with a sense of victory.

"Not bad for a night's work, huh?"

Bruce chuckled, the tension finally easing from his shoulders.

"Yeah, it feels good to have the crowd on our side for once."

"Let's go celebrate,"

Tony suggested, a mischievous glint in his eye.

"Before you two go we need to talk ",

Fury tells them in a serious tone, making Tony sigh knowing this would be a long day.
