Apart from the mysterious iron box that emitted sounds and projected images, Adelle also saw many other magical things on the territory of the Double Rest Sect.
Some she had seen before but hadn't paid much attention to. For instance, the brick kilns that smoked and blazed every day, which produced bricks and tiles that became neatly arranged red brick houses.
The interiors of these brick houses were divided into small rooms, all laid with floor tiles, which felt cleaner and tidier than looking at a castle.
Additionally, the Double Rest Sect had a rule: no one was allowed to relieve themselves on the Sect's territory.
To relieve oneself, one had only to go to a small hut called a dry toilet, which was similar to the latrine in a castle, except that the castle's latrines were generally high up, channeling feces and urine directly into the moat through a chute.
In places without a moat, special servants had to be dispatched to clean up, or they were simply left unattended.
