The cave was bathed in an increasingly bright red light.
It allowed one to see clearly the grotesque and terrifying scene before them.
Surrounding them were smooth-polished rock walls, and in the center lay a pool filled with fresh blood, in which rested a creature, crimson all over and resembling a giant slug.
It jittered with dozens of soft tentacles covered in mucus.
At the end of each tentacle was a circular mouthpiece resembling a leech, clenched onto the back of the heads of a group of Yellow Seal Mages whose bodies flickered with magical light.
Every one of these Mages looked oddly shaped.
There were "Clawed Men" whose hands had turned into crab pincers, "Tentacle Monsters" whose lower bodies were grafted with octopus tentacles, and... "Cockroach Men," who would make any woman scream in terror, among others.
Although it was uncertain what formidable abilities these odd organs bestowed by demons possessed, they certainly epitomized the essence of "monstrous."
