"Boom..."
That was a loud explosion coming from the direction of the town.
It sounded like an explosion, or perhaps thunder. As it erupted, the town immediately burst into commotion — the disturbance was so loud that Reiger and Tamayo, deep in the mountains, heard it clearly.
They had no choice; one had already opened his Transparent World, capable of perceiving his surroundings by focusing on and shutting off unnecessary senses, while the other, a demon with senses far superior to ordinary humans, found the nearby mountain not far from the town. Such a loud disturbance was naturally audible.
"Something's wrong."
The first thought that came to Reiger's mind was just that.
Clearly, Tamayo thought the same.
"It seems as I expected," Tamayo said with a grave face. "Kibutsuji Muzan has made his move."
"What do you mean?" Reiger turned to Tamayo and asked, "Is Kibutsuji Muzan attacking the town? Did you already know about this?"
