"Mistaken?"
Chen Fang muttered.
Wang Naixiang didn't wait for Chen Fang's agreement.
He started searching through that stack of files.
He searched all the way to the bottom.
Finally, Wang Naixiang sighed deeply and pulled out a file.
He bowed slightly towards Chen Fang and said, "I'm sorry, Director Chen, for interrupting your work."
She was just about to turn and leave.
Chen Fang asked, "Director Wang, what file is it? May I have a look?"
Wang Naixiang paused.
She said nervously, "Director Chen, this… this was a case handled by the previous director, Jiang. It's already closed, and technically, this document should have been archived."
"Well then, if I can't see it, never mind."
Chen Fang grumbled.
Wang Naixiang immediately looked terrified.
She said, "As Director Chen has taken over Director Jiang's position, naturally, you can see it."
