"I've said all I wanted to say, County Mayor Ding, is there anything else you wish to add?"
Fan Xian asked Ding Mengxiang.
The meeting had been hastily organized to begin with.
Ding Mengxiang hadn't prepared any speech and was momentarily lost for words, only for a mere second.
Fan Xian then said, "It seems County Mayor Ding has nothing else to add, so let's leave it at that. Meeting adjourned."
After dropping that remark, Fan Xian left the conference room.
The entire meeting lasted less than ten minutes.
Some had just reached the corridor only to be informed they could not enter and had to obediently stand outside; seeing Fan Xian exit, they greeted her one by one.
Fan Xian initially ignored them.
Halfway through, she suddenly stopped in her tracks.
With a cold stare at the latecomers, she said, "If you're late to my meetings in the future, then don't bother attending them at all."
Having said that, she quickly walked away.
