Two beams of golden light fell from the sky, and from the light emerged two samurai. They were much taller than ordinary people, clad entirely in heavy armor, carrying heavy weapons such as great swords and axes in their hands. As they moved, the very earth trembled beneath them.
As soon as the two samurai appeared, they saw the three corpses in front of the temple and immediately became furious, "You actually killed the king's only son? And his two companions as well? Do you know your crime?"
Hunter San Kui stood his ground and said, "I killed a white wolf, how was I to know he'd turn into a human? Is your king a wolf?"
One of the samurai sneered, "Our Moon Saint king's original form is that of a white wolf, who transformed into a human over thirty thousand years ago. The king once served as the Bodhisattva's mount and guarded the lanterns at the foot of the spiritual mountain, having achieved Perfect Enlightenment long ago. The king's sole heir was born in human form!"
