The Ghost-faced Knight rode atop a horse much taller than any mortal steed, slowly entering the center of Qu Liu Town. Along the way, there were a few Cultivators who refused to believe in evil omens, yet all were crushed into cylindrical mush. Such bizarre deaths sent chills down the spine of even the most seasoned thieves, who stood silently in the streets, daring not to move a muscle.
One by one, the Knights began to advance toward key locations throughout Qu Liu Town. Each of the Knights emanated a profound aura, possessing strength that seemed unfathomably deep, striking fear into all who laid eyes upon them.
The leading Ghost-faced Knight arrived at the town center and glanced at the four large characters that read "Lying Flat Inn," before shifting his gaze to the Inn's Shopkeeper at the entrance.
