The walls of the house were built with mud and a few broken bricks and stones; inside, there was only one room. In one corner sat a stove, and on the other side lay two beddings on the ground—one for an adult to sleep on. The smaller one must be for a child to sleep on.
Apart from that, the room contained some miscellaneous items, a few broken bowls and dishes, and a water jar missing a piece.
There were a few dried vegetables placed on the stove, which had been there for so long that they had become completely desiccated.
From this room, one could tell that the owner was extremely poor, with nothing to their name. However, everything was arranged very neatly and cleaned thoroughly. The child's bedding even had a small indentation, as if one could see a child curled up there sleeping.
But the room was too clean, obviously tended to regularly, which was entirely different from the other rooms around it.
