The explosion's tempest was still spreading outwards when Wei Yuan quietly appeared some distance away, just in time to intercept the two witches blasted away by the blast.
Clasping a pair of long cauldrons in his hands, Wei Yuan smashed them ferociously at the witch, who in turn conjured a pair of butterfly short blades before her that parried the twin cauldrons. The Mana within the short blades was exceptionally strong, and the hard clash sent Wei Yuan reeling backwards, all the while leaving two deep gouges in the cauldrons, before they flew back on their own, circling the witch in flight.
The grade of these short blades was extremely high, at least two major levels above Wei Yuan's cauldrons. Had the cauldrons not been exceptionally thick, they might have been severed by the blades.
