Qingming welcomed its first batch of mortals.
The first wave of people wasn't very large, amounting to over three thousand, all previously residing in nearby villages. Wei Yuan had demarcated an area by a small lake to the southeast within the Boundary Domain as the first city for the mortals to live in.
This place was about a hundred and ten li away from Qingming, currently situated at the edge of the Boundary Domain, but once the tens of thousands of Witch Clan corpses were transformed, the Boundary Domain could be expanded another twenty li forward. By the lakeside lay vast open grounds which had been cultivated before but fell into disuse after the great war. Now, re-cultivation would at least require less effort in clearing the land.
