The battlefield had largely remained intact, and no one had touched the most important areas, such as the platform where the Great Witch's corpse lay, until Wei Yuan returned to start cleaning the battlefield.
Wei Yuan leaped onto the platform and saw the corpse of the Great Witch still lying in its original place, its outer robe riddled with holes, teeming with insects burrowing out. Materializing a longsword, Wei Yuan sliced open the robe to reveal the body inside.
It was a gaunt body, with an unusually large head, along with two huge main eyes, and six smaller compound eyes on the forehead. His head was full of wrinkles, sparsely covered with long hair. He had four arms, but the two under his armpits were very thin. His body was also full of wrinkles, like a dried-up old tree branch, covered in tiny holes; it resembled a humanoid insect nest.
