Early the next morning.
Ji Wanwan appeared at the Inner City Gate, bleary-eyed.
Seeing an energetic Zhou Kai, she lamented, "Brother Kai, what time did you go to bed last night?"
Upon seeing her, Zhou Kai began his warm-up exercises, "10 p.m., why? Did you stay up late again?"
Barely awake after the early rise, Ji Wanwan leaned against the wall, "Ah, no, just not quite used to the fresh air this early in the morning."
After warming up his joints, Zhou Kai twitched his mouth and gently elbowed Ji Wanwan, "We're starting to run now, perk up!"
"Ah?" Seeing that Zhou Kai had already started, Ji Wanwan's eyes widened, "We're starting already?"
Half an hour later, Ji Wanwan miserably slumped on a gazebo bench, waving her hand, "No more running! No more running! Brother Kai! Oh no, Lord Kai! Just talk here!"
Zhou Kai laughed, finding Ji Wanwan's state charmingly naïve and adorable, hardly like her usual serious self, burdened as if with a thousand pounds.
