Manager Tang lay on the ground, his face covered in blood. Shattered glass was everywhere, and the coffee table was split in half. A group of security guards stared at Chen Dashan, ready for a fight.
Xu Ruyan's eyes were frantic. She quickly ran forward a few steps, shouting, "Stop!"
"All of you stop! What do you think you're doing? Are you rebelling?"
Hearing Xu Ruyan's voice, Manager Tang's heart leaped with joy. His backup had arrived, and he immediately started to act pitiful on the ground, looking at Xu Ruyan with a tearful expression:
"Manager Xu, this guy started causing trouble for no reason. Look at how he beat me up!"
"You mustn't let him get away with this. He's here to provoke you!"
Xu Ruyan didn't even glance at Manager Tang on the ground. She stepped over him directly, with her brows furrowed, and ran up to Chen Dashan, speaking softly, "Mr. Chen, are you alright?"
